This place is amazing. It's modern and secluded. It's on the river. Mountain scenery on the drive in. Just beautiful. I would definitely stay again as we go to Front Royal every year for a golf tournament

A beautiful large well appointed home on the banks of the Shenandoah River with 3 overlooking decks. Perfect for kayaking (kayaks provided)or fishing off the dock. Close driving to glorious hikes in the National Park, National Forest or State Park. We will definitely return!

The view of the water was lovely. One morning there was a mist across the river. The house was very clean,and had a well stocked kitchen.It felt like we were visiting a friend's home.Very comfy.Bala was so helpful with all our questions .We'd love to come back again soon!

My husband and I enjoyed our stay at Rivers Edge Retreat. We were shocked and excited about the river access. The pictures do not do it justice. The house is very clean and cozy. 10/10 recommend!

Easy check-in, excellent communication. Home was very clean with quality furnishings and bedding. Lots of thoughtful touches and extras. Located along Shenandoah River makes it picturesque.

This is one of the most well equipped VRBOs I've ever stayed in. It has everything you could want and it's easy to find. The views are beautiful; I could have easily spent hours just hanging out on the decks. It was an easy drive to cute downtown Front Royal and Skyline Drive. We also enjoyed using the kayaks. Highly recommend!

We enjoyed our stay. The house was clean and well decorated. The hosts do a great job of decorating. We hated to go back to the real world. We look forward to coming back. Thank you for a great experiance.

Great place to connect with nature without camping. The screen porch was a great place for me. If I could improve the house at all, I would put lamps in the living room for dimmer lighting in the evening. Otherwise wonderful place.

Great Stay

Our stay at Bala’s home was wonderful. The location right on the river is perfect for a relaxing getaway. A very close drive to the National Park and Front Royal. The home is updated nicely and amenities are well stocked, above average kitchen supplies from the typical vacation rental. Do note that there are no tvs in the bedrooms which we appreciated but some may not. Overall it was great.
