Get ready to relax in this beautifully-restored 5 bedroom log cabin in Lake Wylie, SC - perfect for a serene getaway! Truly unique living space inside and out, you won't find another one like it! We renovated and equipped this home to be everything our extended family would want in a vacation property - we want our guests to have that same exceptional experience and enjoy everything we love about it too!

This is a terrific property on more than 4 acres and backs up to a shared private pond. Backyard has a grill, a fully screened back porch with seating for 12+ people, a fire pit, a whimsy walking trail down to your private dock on Willow Pond, and lots of space to entertain a group and have fun! It's surrounded by beautiful scenic landscape and big gorgeous trees, this cabin has fabulous 360 degree views year-round.

Boasts TWO Master bedrooms, both with king beds, and 3 additional upstairs bedrooms. 3 spacious full bathrooms equipped with all the essentials will make your guests will feel right at home. There's a high chair, Pack-n-Play bed, and plenty of board games to best accommodate families with young children. We keep the cabin stocked well with supplies - all the coffee bar accompaniments, basic cooking ingredients/condiments/spices, snacks, drinks, paper products, bathroom toiletries, and cleaning supplies - so you'll have everything you need to fully enjoy your stay at the cabin. It's our privilege to share this special space with you and we hope you enjoy valuable time spent here with friends and family. You'll have virtually every kitchen tool at your disposal to cook, serve, and host great meals or prepare for a group gathering. If you need something specific to use for your stay, please notify the host and we'll do our best to make sure you get it if it's not already stocked at the cabin.

PRIME location - only 2 minutes away from Lake Wylie, 5 minutes from Walmart/Publix and all the restaurants/retail/etc. along the Charlotte Hwy corridor, and 10 minutes away from the Lake Wylie Village Center. This cabin is also centrally located to all of the very best wedding venues in this region. This property is among the closest you'll find in proximity to the Camelot Meadows Event Center, and it's within a 30 minute drive from all the other major wedding venues located in and around Lake Wylie and York, SC. It's got proximity to everything, but still feels private, quiet, and tucked away into nature. This property is surrounded by residential horse farms and gorgeous scenic countryside. 15 minute drive from Historic downtown Belmont, NC. 20 minutes away from the National Whitewater Center.

Check-out instructions

The host requires you to complete the following before checking out:
Load and start the dishwasher
Strip any used beds and gather used towels
Remove personal items, remove leftover food and drinks and take out the rubbish
Turn off the lights, lock the doors and return the keys
Gather all used linens in the laundry room before you leave. You may start a load in the washer if you'd like, there's detergent in the upper cabinet.
Please put ALL trash in bags before putting it into the garbage bin outside. Plenty of trash bags under the kitchen sink. Someone manually loads and hauls your trash for disposal, so be kind. :)
If you removed the lockbox from the door, please put it back on the front doorknob, lock the door, and then lock the keys inside the lockbox before leaving. Thanks so much!

This home is very comfortable and well appointed. Kitchen has everything you need. Screen porch is lovely for conversation, reading or listening to birds. Location of home is perfect for botanical gardens and restaurants in Belmont NC. Our family reunion weekend was perfect.

Incredible stay for our family of 4 and our dogs! We honestly could not have asked for a better home away from home.The cabin is clean and spacious, decorated lovely, and the neighborhood is absolutely gorgeous. As a realtor and designer, I tend to be very picky, but if I could give a higher rating than 5 stars I would. The host had the cabin thoughtfully stocked with snacks, household items, recommendations for dining, and a welcome bottle of wine. Our family originally booked a 2 week stay while our house was undergoing flooring repair, however the repairs took longer than expected and the host graciously allowed us to extend the rental. Some yard clean up was needed due to heavy storms, and the host was quick to communicate and arrange the work while being extremely respectful of our privacy. I would 100% definitely recommend the cabin to everyone, thank you so much!

I grew up with 3 sisters in Columbus Ohio. Golf and Western Equestrian Riding has always been part of our lives growing up! My parents arents recently made the move to Lake Wylie NC into their forever retirement home about 2 years ago. They happened upon, purchased, and fully renovated, this gorgeous 1990’s log cabin shortly after moving to the area, intending to use this unique space to accommodate the rest of our extended family when they’re in town for special occasions and holidays.

Why they chose this property

My mother, Michele, boards her horses at a residential barn on Willow Pond Rd, just across the street from this cabin! The Willow Pond “Loop” is unlike any other neighborhood in York County, mostly comprised of other small horse farms, beautiful unique homes, and gorgeous scenic views year-round.

What makes this property unique

This is a genuine “Lincoln Log” style cabin that belonged to its original owner for more than 25 years, but fell into severe disrepair as the owner got older, between 2015-2023. This property was in rough shape. After over 9 months of restoration, essentially starting over from the studs, this cabin home is in better condition than ever with great finishes and a truly optimized floor plan. From the outside, this house seems relatively small… but when you take a look inside, it’s honestly astonishing how much indoor space there really is. The cabin sits on 4 acres of gorgeous land, which is somewhat unheard of for properties as close to Lake Wylie as this one is (less than 1mi!). This property is tucked away nicely in a quiet neighborhood, yet close to EVERYTHING you’ll ever need right around the corner!

Needless to say, all of the above are reasons why we love this cabin and property, and why we think you’ll LOVE it too!
