My husband, two children and I stayed here for a few days and we all really enjoyed ourselves. The cabin was quite cozy and extremely family/child friendly. The kids definitely loved the game cabinet, toys and bunk beds. You can definitely tell that the hosts were thoughtful when decorating and preparing this property.
We had a great time. The house was very clean and well furnished. The bbq worked great. The air conditioning and wifi also worked great. I would definitely recommend to others!
Didnt realize the steap driveway, balcony was great, gas fireplace on balcony was grest, javaleena came by, very cool.decirated very nicely and clean otger than the barbeques.
We had a wonderful time at the cabin. It was the perfect spot for a beautiful hike to the Fossil Creek waterfall. We saw elk each morning. And most importantly, the house had everything we needed including a propane firepit on the deck that was a great compliment to the cool evening temperatures. Jaclyn was a great host and provided great information both through the app and in the home. Overall, we loved our stay and hope to return one day.
Nice view nice outdoor space Everything provided and moreHost might want to disclose the steps inside and outside the house. Also bedrooms were upstairs. Some difficulties with the steep driveway. Over all a nice quiet home. Thanks

Jan,
Thank you for your review! We're glad to hear you enjoyed the beautiful view and outdoor space. We appreciate your feedback regarding the stairs; please note that the stairs are displayed in the photography of the home. However, we’ve updated the listing description to make it even more evident that it's a two-story cabin with stairs.
As for the driveway, while the property is elevated on a mountainside, it doesn't require any special vehicle—just a steady pace uphill without stopping in the middle. We hope this information helps future guests. Thank you again for your feedback, and we hope to welcome you back soon!
Thank you for your feedback and 5 star review!

The Carpenter’s Cabin was charming, well appointed, quiet and we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. The beds were comfortable, lots of pillows, the towels were large and fluffy. We really enjoyed morning coffee on the deck, feeding peanuts to the blue jays. We did not see elk on property but heard them, and saw them around town, especially in Pine at dusk. Pine has lots of good antique shops (see my finds in photos) Of course the Pie Bar is amazing, Strawberry Lodge Ristorante Italiano is a treat. We found a nail in our tire and guys at the garage next to the Pie Bar were amazing. The Carpenter’s Cabin is a wonderful find, note that there are lots of steps to the front door! But it was manageable for us. The communication was excellent, very quick response (couldn’t figure out the thermostat). Jalyn let was know of an internet outage but it had been restored before we even noticed. Oh, and the deck firepit needs propane!
