The house was exceptionally clean! Very cute, everything we needed was there! The back patio was so pretty! If I had any suggestions it would be a half bath up stairs!
Cute little house. Loved the front porch. Never could get the TV to allow us to see HULU or Netflix after many attempts but it wasn’t the end of the world.
Glad they had a washer and dryer so we could launder our towels and a few clothes.
Family had a great time. ❤️

Liked: Cleanliness, communication
The house was nice and quiet, close to shopping, and had a full kitchen with everything we needed. Check in and check out were easy. Some of the beds were not terribly comfortable though, and the basement is is not the driest. I wish there were more seating in the living room, but there isn’t really room, and the chairs that can be pulled into there are pretty but not terribly sturdy for bigger people.

Water in basement when we arrived. No hot water during our stay. Told us we would get a refund
Enjoyed my family but no hot water and internet was hard to use with TV Apps. Beds are not very comfortable
Charm, lots of it. Bathroom locations are not ideal and at first thought to be problematic but five ladies over the age of 50 worked well together. The location was quaint and private despite being positioned by two city streets. The landscaping was greatly appreciated and enjoyed. We were able to scavenge some twigs and sticks for an evening fire in the fire pit. The upstairs could benefit from a split air/heating unit, but again we still enjoyed our stay and would consider another stay here in the future.
The pictures don’t do this house justice as we had plenty of room to spread out for my family of 6 and the outdoor space was ample. It was a short walk to downtown Sugar Creek and my children thoroughly enjoyed seeing the world‘s largest cuckoo clock. The nightly rate was reasonable and I can definitely say we will return to this house on future trips to this part of Ohio.
This was a great house for our friends trip! Clean rooms and shared spaces, easy walking distance to the main part of town, in a safe area. The bedrooms did take a bit of thought to navigate sleeping arrangements (one tucked in the basement, one on the main floor, one on the top floor accessed only walking through another bedroom.) It worked out perfectly for us, just to note if families or couples want to consider the layout. The house has historic charm and we were so grateful to have found it!
We had a great time at this house. Very clean and great location. The kitchen was stocked wonderfully. The bathroom in the bedroom was different but we worked around it. Overall great stay and experience.
Had stayed there once before. Everything was good. Had a good time and found a couple new places to eat. The only complaint was the driveway. Pretty tight fit for 3 cars and a little dropoff at the end toward the sidewalk.
I've lost count of the number of years we've stayed here. This house has everything we need .. enough beds, linens, coffee, toys for the kids, kitchen utensils for dining in, and laundry room. Great location too!
The house was easy to find, clean, and cool inside. Beds were comfy, plenty of beds for all. Basement was set up cute with a game room and bedroom. Nice place to stay
Nice house. Creaky floors which you expect with an old house. House had a smart tv but I just could not figure out how to get the programs I wanted. Host tried to help from afar but I just couldn’t figure it out. An instruction sheet would have been helpful. Only thing I would like to have known was that the second bathroom was in the basement.
This property was what you see is what you get… very nice older home with plenty of room for everyone! Mr. Adam’s was a great and very understanding host!
This was our second year staying at this home. Plenty of room, close to everywhere we like going, quiet neighborhood, and very clean property! Highly recommend!

What makes this property unique
It's like stepping back in time. The house is over 120 years old. My wife loves this place and has decorated it in her own style that makes her happy. When you stay here you will feal the warmth of the personal touch like going over to a good friend's house.
