We stayed at Rustic Lake Cabins for a quick family getaway!! It was very peaceful, quiet and relaxing!! We enjoyed s’mores at the firepit. Also enjoyed the scenery with lots of different wildlife. Would definitely recommend this place!!

Loved our stay and the time away. It was great having space and not having too close of neighbors. The 2 houses was perfect for our 2 families vacationing together. It was close to everything we needed yet far enough away to be able to relax.

Perfect Spacious Getaway

Cabin was awesome, plenty of room and close to the lake. Enjoyed the outside area and hanging around the campfire. Everything was very clean and comfortable.

Quiet rustic getaway for our family vacay

The two cabins were perfect for our family vacay with our three adult children, their partners and our three grandchildren; perfect for our activities on Canyon Lake, Comal river and Schlitterbahn New Braunfels. Quiet multi acre lot full of trees and perfect for the two dogs…and separate cabin helped with privacy…outdoor areas were perfect and we loved our stay

Great cabin for relaxing family getaway. Large property with plenty of available activities. Close proximity to many day trips to Texas towns & San Antonio. We'd stay again. *upgrades on cookware & kitchen utensils, measuring cups/spoons is recommended.

Cozy Vacation Rental

Great property! We stayed so we could be close to the venue for our daughter’s wedding. There was ample room for the bridesmaids to stay with us. The home is very rustic and quaint. also very close to the lake so we spent the rest of the weekend on the water relaxing.

We love the whole thing. It was all what we expected.

Great fun

This is an adorable cabin. The two cabins are perfect, clean and comfortable. The property is fabulous. We especially loved the porch swings. It was too hot for the hot tub and the fire pit, but we loved sitting outside at night looking at the stars. We saw deer, foxes, and armadillo. It was perfect!!

Winter Family Vacation

My family and I came here to celebrate my daughter’s birthday, and to get a little downtime before the holidays. The house and grounds are great! It was clean with plenty to do and I especially loved the added Christmas decorations. The house was well stocked and cute and cozy. The handheld shower in the closet tub took a bit of getting used to but we managed to fine. It’s close to a lot of fun hill country adventures and there is a state park a half a mile away. Anna was great to work with and friendly. I would highly recommend this location!

Great Property with all that we needed

This is a great property to rent in the Canyon Lake/Hill Country area. It has two cabins, the main one with 2br and an adjacent cabin with 1br that is really spacious. We had everything we needed and they stay was pleasant. Only two things keep me from the 5 star review: The bathroom on the main cabin has no shower, only a bathtub with one of those extendable hand showers. I really have a hard time using those things. Second the A/C was not working properly, luckily the weather was fine this spring and I just had to open the windows. I hope they fix it before the summer really kicks in.

Slight attention needed.

The property itself is great! it was cozy and relaxing. there was dirty dishes put up and trash in and around the property that was not picked up which was not a big deal, we picked it up. The pull out mattress in the living room from the sofa on the other hand is horrible It is worn out and all the framed pushes up against your body and the same thing with other smaller futon. the hot tub wouldn't get hot even after looking up instructions online and messing with it for over an hour. We didn't get to enjoy it after all. the ice maker didn't work and the Wi-Fi would not work all the time. But the cabin and atmosphere are worth overlooking that stuff. Thanks!

Great location, Ample outdoor room

The property is located closer to Canyon Lake than any other property we found. Indoors were nice and mostly as described. There is a multitude of outdoor seating areas and grilling area and pets would love this place. The cooling inside was way better than the listing suggests. Outdoors are so nicely wooded that we were able to spend a lot of time outside on an otherwise hot summer evening and saw deer and some interesting reptiles we spent a lot of time watching. The hot tub button did not work and eventually talked to the manager and was guided to the controls that got things working. The access key could use some more detailed instructions on which one to use (there were two keying areas on each entry) and it needed multiple tries to get unlocked since it was sensitive to the timing (the manager helped over the phone). Overall, our group of 3 families and dog had an amazing time at this property. This has nothing to do with the property but we meant to go to Paddle Canyon Lake but the lot filled up fast and were diverted to the main Canyon Lake Beach area which was a less than ideal beach.
