Perfect size and location

My stay here was very pleasant. The location was great, not too far from Pearl St. and close to many grocery stores and hiking spots. The check in and out process was super easy, and the host was very good about making sure I had everything I needed. I definitely recommend for anyone visiting Boulder!

The only thing that I would have liked, and that I didn’t realize it was going to be so much of a problem from the pictures, was there really was no place to sit together and watch TV in the evenings or have our daughter and her boyfriend over to hang out. Beautiful property loved everything that is my only comment that someone should be aware of when booking.

Clean, well maintained, and peaceful apartment a 5-10 minute drive from anywhere in Boulder. Carla also keeps the apartment well stocked with anything you need for cooking, as well as little welcome snacks and drinks! We had a wonderful experience and would happily stay again.

Great location and lovely neighborhood. Biked and walked each day to nearby shopping. This is a nice home-base for exploring Boulder. Each night I enjoyed a good rest in a comfortable bed and appreciated the ability to both make my own meals in the kitchen and do my laundry. The owner was friendly and readily available.

Awesome place 2 miles from CU campus!

My daughter and I stayed here and it was fantastic. Easy check in process and plenty of room for more than 2. A bottle of wine, bowl of fruit, cheese, crackers, and other goodies/snacks awaited us. That was so awesome and not expected. 2 bedrooms with power strips so no issues with plugging in laptops, phone charges, etc. Place was clean and really had a ‘fell like home vibe’. Separate kitchen area, large bathroom, 2 bedrooms so we were never bumping into each other. Our host Carla, was very communicative, letting us know all we needed and was easy to reach. I will definitely stay here again!

Quiet neighborhood

Carla was very attentive when toilet needed repairs. Good supply of breakfast foods so we didn't have to shop right away. Bus stop just a short walk away. Neighborhood quiet and attractive for walks. Some noise from upstairs, but not bad. Lacking were a comfy place to read with good reading light; also a good cutting board and at least one good kitchen knife would be an improvement.

Nice location, comfy beds, nice shower and they allow dogs--we had ours along for this trip. Messaged Carla at one point as we were leaving our giant puppy in his crate to go out to dinner and anticipated him barking a bit and she was totally ok with that, which was awesome. Carpets and rugs are very dirty (I'm sure because they allow dogs). Cobwebs in room corners. Would suggest removing carpet and replacing with hard flooring, using only easy to launder rugs.

A nice stay in Boulder

Carla was lovely although we didn't really meet until the evening before we left for home. She was very kind and generous, even going so far as to stock the fridge with healthy treats like fresh apples, bananas,strawberries, blueberries , milk,cheese, English muffins, crackers and a bottle of wine. The apartment was in her basement so it was a little dark. Our only negative was the slight odor that came from the kitchen drain and a few cobwebs in the bathroom. A box of baking soda and a feather duster should do the trick. Otherwise a very good stay with a pleasant lady. Thank you Carla.

A nice little place in a beautiful neighborhood

We really enjoyed our stay in this little basement apartment! We were pleased to find fruit, snacks and water waiting for us when we arrived. The rooms were comfortable, the kitchen serviceable and well-stocked though very small, and the bathroom was generously sized. The place is a bit dark as it is mostly below ground, but there were lights distributed throughout so it wasn’t an issue. Though there was a very faint musty smell when we first arrived, we did not notice it later although we were in and out frequently. The water pressure in the shower is a tad low but acceptable. Every day we took a beautiful 15-min walk to a nearby center with an excellent breakfast place, amazing pastries, and a grocery store. Wonder Lake is very near that center and provides gorgeous views and a pleasant walk. The drive to Pearl Street Mall and other Boulder locations was direct and quick, and the area is just beautiful. Happy to recommend this place!

Pretty, clean, nicely furnished basement apartment in lovely, quiet Boulder neighborhood. Great access to downtown and local hiking. Most comfortable bed I’ve had at VBRO. Would definitely stayed here again. The snacks left for is were especially nice touch and greatly appreciated, especially the English muffins for breakfast.
