NATURE NOTE

Since we’re located in a forested, rural area, being close to nature is part of the experience. While the space is carefully cleaned before each stay, a stray spider or cobweb can occasionally appear. We choose not to use insecticides in order to keep the environment healthy for you and the local wildlife. If you’re especially sensitive to insects, just a heads up that this is a nature-forward space. We want you to feel completely at ease here and are always happy to answer any questions ahead of your stay.

While the exposure of the house is towards the half acre of forest, Little Norway is located in a cul de sac with a few other quiet single family homes.

Little Norway is best experienced as a space for chill time. If you are seeking a space for a party, we can recommend other areas of the Poconos. Quiet hours are 10pm-6am.

Welcome to your Pocono retreat at Little Norway! You can check our our welcome guide here: sites.google.com/view/littlenorway

We are a Californian and Pennsylvanian who live, work, and host guests in our home the charming Victorian town of Jim Thorpe, PA. We purchased Little Norway in 2025 to offer travelers comfortable, restorative, and creative retreat accommodations in a peaceful forest setting.

We believe that sharing our space and our resources in this lovely corner of the world is good for people and the planet and we are grateful you are part of that vision during your stay.

We enjoy working hard with our hands to provide a space that feels as welcoming and peaceful as the forest Little Norway is nestled in. We value feedback to help us make your stay more welcoming and rejuvenating.

And if you’ve enjoyed your time here, we’d be truly grateful for your review—it helps others discover this retreat and supports what we’re creating.
