Kulakane Resort is a West Maui vacation rental property, located just a few miles north of historic Lahaina Town. Each vacation rental property is professionally managed and superbly maintained to the highest standards. Your Maui vacation can be enjoyed in one of our beachfront one-or-two bedroom condos which come fully furnished and equipped for your vacation.

Each oceanfront condo at the Kulakane Resort is unique because it was furnished and decorated by its individual owner. Individually decorated, each condominium offers a complete kitchen, free cable TV and free local telephone.

Kulakane Resort offers beautiful and affordable West Maui vacation rentals. All of the condos at the Kulakane Resort are located beachfront and offer a direct ocean view. We combine all the comforts of home and make Kulakane Resort your Home away from Home in paradise.

Pillows are flat . Just needs some TLC by the owners !!

Perfect spot!

We stayed in Unit 108 at the Kulakane in Lahaina for 7 nights. You can't beat the view and location. And, all the folks we met were so friendly and welcoming. Many repeat visitors. We made new friends. The property managers were just wonderful! The condo was comfortable, but a bit dated. Perhaps a deep cleaning might be in order. Would stay at the Kulakane again, but would try another unit. Overall, a terrific stay.

Laid back atmosphere which made you feel at home. Loved the main level walk-out to the pool. The Conch ceremony at sundown was especially fun for us. Numerous whales as we watched from our Lanai. I would love to return.

Reviewer Comments: When you haven't been somewhere and try to pick the right spot...there is always a bit of 'worry' about details you forgot to look into....Our spot was PERFECT! The location, staff, condo were all wonderful. The pool and outside area need work, but we believe they are addressing those issues. (Pool is WAY too small for all the visitors who want to use it.). Great service, friendly fact, a great game of 'donating' takes place when one set of visitors leaves - they donate non perishables to the next! All in all, we highly recommend and will be back!

Beach is barely there , but all of Maui has suffered etosion. I am happy to be living in paradise and I live on the property that I manage. When guests book any of our condos, I will be here to greet you personally. I am a mother of 2, grandmother of 7 and Great grandmother of 2 and I adore my family! I encourage them to come see me as often as possible as they all live on the main land. What a place to come visit Grammie and Grandpa, right?

Why they chose this property

There are so many little shops and restaurants within walking distance of the condos. There are also food trucks just down the street from here across from the Times Supermarket, which is less than a mile from the condos. Guests go get their take out food and come back and eat on their lanai's and watch for turtles. Honokowai is a very nice little neighborhood between Ka'anapali and Kahana.

What makes this property unique

We are a small 42 condo complex directly ocean front. Every condo has the same amazing view. You can see Honu (sea turtles) in the surf out front every day and during the whale season, you can watch those play all day as well. We have a Pupu (appetizers, potluck style) party every Friday night at sunset. Hawaiian tradition is to blow the conch shells at sunset every evening to each point on the compass. We do that every evening. It's a very friendly homey kind of place that I think you'll love.
