Welcome to our cozy, newly renovated mountain escape! Tucked in nature, nestled in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains and beside the shoreline of Lake Lure. Surrounded by chirping birds and the sounds of a nearby waterfall, this home is your haven for relaxation. Enjoy modern comforts and a warm, inviting atmosphere crafted just for you. The Retreat is nestled on the highest peak in the village, surrounded by towering trees in a gated community. With amenities like WiFi, AC, and a washing machine, you can truly unwind and make the most of your stay. Also includes a recently added bunkhouse seperate from the main house, "Camp Hill Top", which includes 2 bunkbeds and walkie-talkies.... a retreat for little & big kids.

I cannot say enough about how amazing this place is! Truly an escape from the busyness of everyday life and a breathtaking view from the top of God’s beautiful countryside. You just have to see it with your own eyes; this place is absolutely stunning and well thought out. Even the rain couldn’t ruin our time there - it actually made it more peaceful and magical to hear the sound of the water pattering down on the trees and the rooftops. The drive was steep and winding but no problem with a V8 engine and 4WD (kinda fun really, even in the dark). We will definitely be back again, I can’t wait!

We stayed for two nights with 5 teens on our way from Ohio to the Outer Banks. We had a great time relaxing in nature in the mountains. Went on a nice hike, spent time in Chimney Rock and Lake Lure. The house was perfect for our group with everyone in their own space and the patio was lovely. Nick was so helpful and caring. We will definitely be back!

This house is so nice. It doesn’t feel like a short term rental. Details are next level, no cheap shortcuts. Very clean - Not even a spec of dirt or smudged fingerprint anywhere. The design is beautiful. The owners thought of so many little details, even a little welcome note! The community is also beautiful and has so many unique amenities. We enjoyed lake swimming and a walk down to the waterfall. There is also a gym and creek that we didn’t get a chance to check out. The owners are amazing to work with. We actually had a medical emergency while staying and they were so gracious and flexible with us logistically and seemed genuinely concerned for our situation and well being. I highly recommend!

We had an excellent stay with Nick and Courtney that made for a great July 4th weekend. The house was beautiful and very guest-friendly. Our hosts did a great job with even the smallest touches like having the ice full and ready to go on a hot day. We would love to come back next time we're in Lake Lure!
