Go PA Lefties!

We had a great time at the property. The view is unbeatable, the neighborhood is quiet, and the house is charming. We spent our time checking out the sights, watching for whales, and cheering on the Lefties. Thank you for a great stay!!!

Great Stay

The house was cozy and perfect for our family of four. You are just minutes from the town center and the Olympic National Park visitor center. You also have great views of the water and on a clear day can see Mount Baker. We will stay here again when we come back to the area.

Great view

My family and I had a wonderful time. The beautiful morning sun rise started the day off and the house is a short distance to all the fun restaurants in port Angeles. You can tell the owners try to make your stay wonderful.

The perfect getaway

My husband and I love the PNW and visit the area yearly. We usually go to Orcas Island but decided to try something on the mainland. This cottage has all the amenities of home and is very comfortable. I enjoyed watching the sun come up from the Gazebo each morning. Cute spot will keep on our list for a re-visit!

Port Angeles Harbor Vire

We absolutely loved everything about our stay in Port Angeles. The house was charming, very clean, comfortable and the kitchen was well set up for food prep as needed. The view of the harbor was fantastic - we loved viewing the ships passing by and the opportunity to see Victoria across the Strait. In short the home suites our needs perfectly and we’d love to stay again should we return.

Perfect for 4th of July

We had a wonderful stay with access to all of the activities we had planned - Port Townsend, Forks, Tree of Life, Olympic National Park, and horseback riding in Sequim. We appreciated the games and the view. We were even able to watch the fireworks with a great view from the backyard. Thanks again!

Don’t stay here

This house has a major problem with ants and has a very bad musky smell. The house also has only one very old bathroom. I would not recommend this house to anyone. It has only a view. Luckily we use the house only to sleep.

A home with a view

Cute. Cozy. Perfect for two couples. Upstairs mattress is good for one unless you comfortable meeting in the middle. The second couple ended up sleeping apart.

Great view, close to Olympic National Park

This is a great place to stay if you want to see the major attractions of Olympic National Park. You will still need to do some driving but this is about as close as you can get. The property was very comfortable and had everything that we could need. Just a note, the TV has cable but is not a smart TV so if you want to use streaming channels bring your Roku or Chromecast or similar items. This was not a need for us as we mostly hiked, ate at some of the nearby bars and restaurants, and just enjoyed the beautiful view of the water. We were really too tired after a day of hiking to do much but eat and go to bed. I would definitely stay here again the next time I visit Olympic National Park.

I really loved the inviting feeling of the house. They had things that wouldn’t have anticipated (1) menu of nearby restaurants so you can order from (2) set of board games, and jigsaw puzzles (3) instructions such as wifi password and others. (4) a nice set of binoculars in the ground floor (5)a beautiful monocular (portable terrastrial telescope) on the top floor. (6) childrens get away ladder from top floor through window. Both rooms were well kept and well plenty of space for two solo travellers. For larger groups single bathroom may be a constraint to consider. The view to the port was amazing and accompanied a private sit out area. I had my tripods and camera there for a while getting some nice photos. Even when sitting from sofa all these are visible. Not visible from the dining table though, we both almost never used sofa and would have preferred view on that side. The kitchen was fully stocked with utensils you need for cooking. I couldn’t find pepper though but i found small sachets to substitute. The laundry is kept far enough to not bother you with sound. But we didnt use except for the towels on check out. Only complaint is perhaps wifi was not working. If I wasn’t your typical network geek fixing thar would have been non trivial. If you run into same issue - just restart the motorola modem (not wifi one) behind the tv by plugging out and back in. There is enough parking for two cars, we only needed one.

What a surprise!

After a long day of traveling, there's always a moment of trepidation walking into your rental house/apt. Will this be a dream or a nightmare? As we walked into the Crow's Nest on a clear blue summer afternoon, we all breathed a collective sigh of relief. It was clear that this visit was not only going to be comfortable and pleasant, it was going to be special. The place was spotless and stocked with all the necessities, including a kitchen with every doodad you could think of. Plenty of clean towels, simple internet, etc. But what hit you first is the view - practically 180 degrees of serene blue gorgeousness, and the cute, perfectly realized nautical decor. We actually dropped all our plans for finding decent restaurants nearby and instead drove the five minutes down the hill to the organic market and stocked up for three evenings of dining in. I doubt any restaurant in town could have matched the quiet perfection of sitting perched high atop a seaside hill in midsummer just watching the Vancouver cruise ships heading out into the sunset one after another... Lovely.

Heaven on earth

The view of the strait into Canada was so majestic and peaceful. We were able to see sunrise over Mt Baker and watch the ships and sailboats go by. It’s a wonderful place to stay. It’s also clean, with a cozy atmosphere inside. We would love to visit again!

Nice beach stay

The place was super cute and right in the middle of a lovely small town. Near enough to bigger stores if you need to get anything not available in town. It was clean, however the one issue I wish we would have known before was that there is a bad ant problem. They make sure you know once you are there, but it would have be nice to know ahead of time. Other than that, truly no complaints and would love to stay there again.

Wonderful view

We really like most everything about this house. The only issue that we noticed was that the online listing stated that it sleeps 6. There are only 3 actual beds; two queen sized beds and one single. We brought an inflatable bed so it worked out for us but it might be a problem for others.

Perfect spot to explore the Olympic Peninsula

We really enjoyed our stay at the Crow's Nest. Not only was the house clean and comfortable, but the views of the water were breathtaking. Our host gave us excellent advice on where to eat, resources for hiking and activities in the national park and how to find parking for the ferry to Victoria. We had a wonderful time and hope to return.
