Wonderful home equipped with everything we needed. We loved the river in the backyard and fire ring for evening campfire. We would definitely stay here again.
Perfect as a place to serve as our home base as we explored the park during the day. Small and simple space but had what we needed for our visit. Loved having a fire out back and hearing the river rush by

Thank you for your review. We hope to have you back someday soon.
This place had everything. The photos don’t do it justice. There’s a really nice fire pit area and the backyard is great. Very roomy and we loved our stay.

James,Thank you for taking the time to write about your experience at our cabin.
Clean cabin, full of amenities with a great river view and a super nice host!
We loved our stay! The cabin was very clean, had all the amenities we could have asked for and the host was super nice and communicative. There wasn't any river access but the view of the river was great.
We stayed here with our kids. They loved sleeping in the loft and making s’mores at the fire pit after dinner. The cabin was very clean, kitchen had all amenities and the whirlpool tub was much needed after long hikes in the park!
Quiet, peaceful stay right on the river (but no access to the river). It was the perfect place for exploring this side of Olympic NP. We loved sitting on the back deck and watching the river in the evenings. Communication with owner was excellent. Had everything we needed to cook meals and do laundry.

Thank you so much for giving us your feedback. We hope to host you again soon.
We did a lot of exploring at nearby beaches and Olympic Nat’l Park. Coming back to a backyard fire pit and the sight and sounds of the river was perfect! Our host was very responsive and offered great recommendations for nearby adventures. We would definitely come back.
A great location next to the river! The cabin was clean and had everything we needed. Pura was great to work with and was quick to respond to any questions we had. We would definately stay here again.
This is a lovely home with huge windows overlooking forest and river below. We especially enjoyed the outside deck and firepit area. House is older but beds very comfortable and kitchen and pantry exceptionally well equipped.

One of the cleanest places we have stayed. Didn't get to use the home much as we were out everyday and came back fairly late but did have coffees outside a couple of mornings and the street sounds great.
This property was better than the photos! Everything was spotless, ample supplies available for use, convenient to everything we visited, the Hoh Rainforest, Forks, Sol Duc River, La Push, and so much more! Property is fenced and feels safe and private. We will definitely be back!

Thank you so much for sharing your experience with us. We look forward to having back.
Get Away at Sol Duc was fantastic! We have stayed at many VRBOs, and this house was pristine clean and extremely comfortable. There was plenty of room for my family of six. Pura was wonderful to communicate with and she thought of many little things around the house to make the stay perfect. The location is right next to a sweet little river and the property is fenced in and secure. The house is located perfectly for exploring Olympic NP. We would definitely stay here again! Great house, Pura! Thank you for making our stay perfect!
This was a great place to stay near the west coast of the Olympic National Park. You can see the river from the back door. They had all the amenities you would need.

Come back soon! Thanks for sharing your experience in the Olympic Peninsula
It was perfect and we will hopefully be back for a future trip to this home and beautiful area of Washington. The home was perfectly located for day trips to many different areas of Olympic NP. My only regret is, we didn't stay long enough or get to do any fishing ! Thanks Pura for the hospitality and for sharing your home with adventurers !

We love to have you back again. Thank you for your kind words!
The home is set in a great and quiet area, overlooking the river in the backyard. It has two floors, the upper floor has a bedroom (no doors) and a 1/2 bath. All amenities were there for our two day stay. We enjoyed it!

Thank you so much for your kind words and review. Murali, We look forward to hosting you again in the future!
Clean with everything one would need. Great back yard with a deck, tables, fire pit and soothing stream. Short drive to town, park entrance and ocean. Wish there was two bathrooms for the four of us, but knew that before renting and made it work. Would stay there again.
We spent a week and really felt comfortable here. There was enough space for us to all have our own areas, but yet it was not so big that we did not feel we were together. There were lots of extras in the kitchen - such as spices, syrup, coffee, coolers for day trips...etc. The host was very responsive to my questions.
This was our first time using Vrbo and we got so lucky! Pura’s home is so beautiful and stocked with everything you will need. We really enjoyed our stay here and it was perfect for our 18 month old. I have stayed in a lot of other vacation rentals all over the world and this is by far the nicest we have ever stayed in. Thank you so much Pura!
Loved the location of this cabin, very close access to the beaches and not too far of a drive from the rainforest or other hikes. I can’t praise the bathtub and shower enough- amazing water pressure and it got so hot, far better than expected for being so remote! That shower after a day of hiking is wonderful, like instant spa. Would definitely recommend bringing your own food/groceries as there are limited options nearby (especially if vegan).

Katrina, thank you so much for sharing your experiences. We love to have you visit us again soon.
Large house with almost an acre of land, fenced in. There's a river behind the house, but you can't get to it directly -- there's a boat launch about a 10 min walk south. Our washer broke and the owners were nice enough to replace it while were there.

Why they chose this property
We moved to western side of the Olympic Peninsula 20 years ago thinking that we will go back to the "city life" once the kids were off to college. However escaping Forks and its surrounding beauty is no longer in the plan! We fell in love with the area long time ago. As there its no time in our life time to complete exploring the Olympics, the park, the ocean, and rivers that spread around us. Trips to the city are few and limited to a short visit to family, shopping , or to a conference.
What makes this property unique
The property sits in a neighborhood, its pristine, at the edge of the SolDuc River. 15 min drive to Forks, but walking distance to easy short hikes. Load the bikes or ride , and you are close by one of many of The Olympic Discovery Trail trail-head. Our chance to connect with nature is never ending. Fresh waters, ocean, mountains, sandy and rocky shores, water falls, have all we like near of it surrounds the area.
