Closed since January for a complete redesign, our transformed space blends luxury, vintage charm, and chic sophistication—a refined nod to the speakeasy era, but with a fresh, modern twist. Every detail has been thoughtfully curated to create an atmosphere that is both classy and inviting, where timeless elegance meets contemporary comfort. Discover Hôtel Unique Stays, a charming boutique hotel located across from Espace Saint-Denis in the heart of Montreal’s dynamic Quartier Latin. Housed in a stylish three-story building, our hotel offers an intimate and refined atmosphere, perfect for a memorable stay. Experience one of our 6 elegantly appointed rooms, designed to combine comfort and refinement. Each room features high-quality bedding and a private bathroom stocked with Unscented toiletries. These products are fragrance-free, allergen-free, and made from natural, biodegradable components, providing an environmentally friendly experience while ensuring optimal comfort. The room also includes a dedicated workspace, ideal for business travelers. Modern amenities such as air conditioning, free Wi-Fi, and a flat-screen TV enhance your stay. With their carefully curated decor and attention to detail, these rooms offer a perfect retreat after a busy day exploring Montreal.

- Daily Housekeeping -
Enjoy the comfort of daily housekeeping and turndown service, keeping your room fresh and welcoming between 11:00 AM and 4:00 PM. If you’d like service, simply place the sign on your doorknob by 11am the day of.

- 24/7 Snack Buffet -
Although breakfast is not included, you can enjoy our 24/7 snack buffet (located on the second floor). This service is included in the price of your stay, allowing you to grab a bite any time, day or night.

- There is an outside staircase of 9 steps to access the first floor of our hotel.
- This room is located on the first floor of the building.
- This room is located at the front of the building, facing rue Saint-Denis.

On the ground floor of our building, you’ll find a Mexican restaurant, but the true highlight of our location is our central position on Saint-Denis Street, a vibrant hub of the Quartier Latin.

This lively street is packed with diverse restaurants, lively bars, and unique shops. Just steps from the hotel, you can explore numerous local businesses and experience Montreal’s rich gastronomic and cultural offerings. Directly across from the hotel is Espace Saint-Denis, a renowned theater with a varied program, immersing visitors in the heart of Montreal’s vibrant life. Whether you want to catch a captivating show or enjoy the lively atmosphere of Saint-Denis Street, everything you need is right nearby.

Additionally, our hotel is just a 2-minute walk from Berri-UQAM Metro Station, a major transit hub serving 3 metro lines, making it easy to navigate Montreal.

Please note: Rue Saint-Denis is a bustling commercial street, so some noise may be expected. While our building is equipped with double-glazed windows to minimize sound, please consider this when choosing our property.

As a boutique hotel, you may occasionally meet our receptionist at the front desk or see our attentive cleaning staff around the building. While we may not always be there in person, we’ve made check-in easy and seamless with a self-service process. Rest assured, though, we’re just a message or call away! Our online reception is available from 9:30 AM to 10:30 PM to help with anything you need, ensuring your stay is as comfortable and enjoyable as possible.

Indigo Parking under Espace Saint-Denis:

Our building does not have parking spaces, so we highly recommend Indigo Parking, located under Espace Saint-Denis, directly across from our property at 1595 Saint-Denis Street. Please note that this is not an official partnership, but simply a recommendation to make your stay more convenient.

Convenient Location and Easy Access:

The parking is located at 1601 Sanguinet Street, just a minute's walk from our building! It remains accessible even when Saint-Denis Street is closed to traffic in the summer since the parking entrance is on Sanguinet Street.

Security:

The parking is indoors and monitored to ensure the safety of your vehicle. Rate: The rate is $24 (CAD) per day before taxes (as of September 17, 2024). Please note that rates may change, so it's best to check current prices directly with the parking facility.

During the summer, Saint-Denis Street generally becomes pedestrian-only between Sherbrooke Street and Boulevard de Maisonneuve. In 2025, the exact dates are yet to be confirmed, but this initiative typically takes place from mid-June to mid-September. Enjoy a relaxed atmosphere with local shops, cafes, and cultural events right at your doorstep, without traffic disturbing the peace.

Important information:

- A hold of $200 will be placed on the credit card used to book your reservation on the day of your reservation. This amount will be fully released after inspection at the end of your stay.
