Serene Condo in the Mountains

With a front-row view of Mount Mitchell and listening to the South Toe River pass by, nothing is more relaxing. And it only becomes more magical at night being able to star gaze in this International Dark Sky space. The condo is located on the Mount Mitchell Golf Course and is a short drive to access the Blue Ridge Parkway. Down the road is a great hike to a waterfall and downtown Burnsville is a 20 minute drive. Come enjoy all that Burnsville and the surrounding areas have to offer!

This condo has 2 bedrooms, each with their own full bathroom. Each bedroom also has 2 queen-size beds, a dresser, ceiling fan, nightstand, and closet area. Enjoy a fully equipped kitchen, dining nook, and living room area with large smart tv.

Please note that unfortunately the golf course is still closed due to effects of the hurricane. Although it is slightly overgrown, it is still beautiful nature among the mountains.

We did not stay at the property. We were afraid to. The description and pictures showed it on a beautiful golf course and described it is being right beside the South Toe River. The golf course has been abandoned, and the exterior of the property is very rundown. The road on which it was located is it dead end and the area around has been severely damaged by Helene. When we saw the property, we went to another town and rented a room. We did not stay there because we felt uncomfortable. The host was very nice and did her best. The interior of their property was clean enough and a little worn. We have been trying to get in touch with VRBO to get a refund, but there is no information on the website about how to do this.
