About this property

Family-friendly, 2nd floor clean and cozy 2 bedroom/1.5 bath beach condo in a quiet residential neighborhood available for weekly summer rental (Saturday to Saturday). We will only rent to responsible adults and families. We are here in the downstairs unit most weekends and enjoy sharing our beach house with friends and family.

We are ocean side and are walkable to the beach (0.6 miles, a 10-13 minute walk) and to the center of both Rehoboth (0.8 miles) and Dewey Beach (0.9 miles). You can also take the Jolly Trolley, a block away on Robinson Street (0.3 miles, a 5 minute walk) to Rehoboth and Dewey. Ubers and Lyfts are now also regularly available.

This is a fully equipped and furnished condo: brand new eat-in kitchen, new washer/dryer, and new furnishings, including a new large sectional (sofa does not have a pull out bed) and ottoman, new beds and mattresses, and new outdoor furniture with a dining set and gas grill on the deck. Delightful, secluded, nicely-shaded, screened-in back porch for coffee, reading, playing games, or afternoon cocktails. Sleeps 4 comfortably and can accommodate up to 5 guests. The condo is accessed through the side driveway, through a gate and up an exterior set of stairs. Also in that fenced in space is an outdoor shower, bike rack and beach cart with 4 beach chairs, big umbrella, and sand toys. PLEASE NOTE: There is a pool in the backyard that is enclosed by a 7ft locked fence that is only accessible to the downstairs unit. Guests are not permitted in the pool or fenced in backyard.

Sleeping arrangements can be configured as a king or two twin beds in one bedroom, and a king bed in the master bedroom. A crib or a twin air mattress is available for a child or a 5th guest to be set up in the master bedroom. We provide all linens and towels! The full bathroom is a tub/shower combo.

Other amenities include: new floors, new half bathroom, central air-conditioning, wifi-access, cable TV in the living room and both bedrooms, an outdoor shower, and off street parking for 2 cars.

We will consider friendly doggies for an additional fee. Saturday to Saturdays bookings only.

Allergen alert: owners are highly allergic to cats.

Great Beach vacation

Birds-eye view

We enjoyed this property. Great location between Rehoboth and Dewey Beaches, clean, and relatively comfortable. The view from the screened porch and deck is into the owners' and othes' pools and yards, and there was some associated noise on the busy Father's Day weekend, and also some feelings of inferiority (in spite of the elevation). I'm not sure we would stay in this particular property again, but I dont regret booking it. Overall a good time!

Great getaway

We purposely chose post Labor Day to rent this property. There was far less traffic than in the high season but still plenty of activity in town, eg. stores and restaurants still open, lots of people on the beach, etc. Our rental was very quiet and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Though we did not see the owners except on the first day, we knew that we could easily get in touch with them if we needed to. The location was also ideal for us: far enough away from the crowds but close enough to easily access the beach, go for long scenic walks, and even attend Mass at the local Catholic Church. We had a great week, and are most grateful to Natalie and Brooks for providing us with the opportunity to use their home!

Superb!

My husband and I, along with our senior dog, had a lovely two weeks in the Singers 2nd floor apt. The neighborhood is family and dog friendly, and a perfect quiet gem located right in the middle of Rehoboth and Dewey Beach. We loved being so close to everything, but having a quiet retreat in the evenings. We barely used our car, as everything we wanted to do was accessible by walking or biking. It’s so rare to find such a clean and beautifully decorated rental that also welcomes dogs. This property is gorgeous and well-cared for. The Singer family has gone out of their way to ensure guests have a terrific, flawless stay: beach cart, chairs, umbrella, sheets, towels, comforters, excellent kitchen/cookware, detergents, hand-soap, etc. We would highly recommend for couples and young families, and hope to visit again.

Welcome to our favorite place in the world! Brooks and I started coming to the Delaware beaches in 2001 and immediately fell in love with the area. We are originally from the Northeast and both grew up close to the water. So when we decided to settle in Washington D.C., we knew that frequent beach trips would be a must for us. We rented for many years, and then purchased around the same time as the birth of our first daughter. We have 3 children and a coonhound named Daisy Sue. We love that our children will grow up enjoying life at the beach. We are here in the downstairs unit most weekends.

Our welcome packet will include a guide of our favorite restaurants and activities to do while you are on vacation. Our hope is that our renters love Rehoboth as much as we do.

Why they chose this property

We bought this property because of its proximity to the beach and both towns, and because of the residential nature of the community. It is a very quiet street comprised of mostly young families and retirees, and we have the best neighbors in the world. It is the perfect beach community.
