Centrally Located Dewey Cottage - 1.5 Blocks to the Beach

To potential renters: A dehumidifier has been put in the home as of 7/25/23 to eliminate the humidity caused by the significant rainfall over the past weeks. Comfortable spacious 2-bedroom cottage in the heart of Dewey with off-street parking for 1-2 cars. House permitted to sleep 6 with 2 queen beds plus new double(full) sleeper sofa in 2023. Full kitchen with the conveniences of home. Washer/Dryer, Both Keurig and regular coffee pot provided. Large porch area is more like an additional room. Large smart TV in Living room - Internet TV only.

This house sits 1 1/2 blocks from the beach on New Orleans Street. Big back yard for kids to enjoy. 3 minute walk to beach, 2nd house from bay. (You can see the bay from the back bedroom window)

This is a shared property. There are two homes on the property. This is the front cottage. We have 3 cameras installed outside in the common areas of the property - one at the parking, one at the back yard, and one on the east side of the cottage. This is for security purposes only. There are 2 BBQs provided - 1 per unit. For gas grill, propane not guaranteed. Please be safe and do not use grill against house. Please leave grill in condition as found. Each unit has its own outside shower.

Check in is 3 PM, Check Out is 10 AM. Bring towels, linens, blankets & comforters and paper products/consumables .

Minutes (walking) to restaurants, bars, fast food, coffee shop, town park, bay, shopping and entertainment. One mile to the Rehoboth Boardwalk and Funland with very reasonably priced rides for kids. Pick up the Jolly Trolley into Rehoboth at the corner. Park your car and never move it. Rehoboth Shopping Outlets 1-2 miles away. Lots of fine dining in Rehoboth. One to two off street parking at house.

MUST BE OVER 25 TO RENT. NO RENTALS TO UNSUPERVISED HIGH SCHOOL SENIORS. NO PETS- NO EXCEPTIONS. Owner reserves right to charge higher Security on senior weeks. Renter pays credit card foreign transaction fees if applicable.

Cute Cottage

This cottage is in the perfect location to all things Dewey. Steps from Starboard and just a short walk to all other restaurants, bars and the beach! The no frills house is perfect for a quick getaway or a week at the beach. My friends and I had a great time and spoke frequently all weekend about how much we enjoyed our limited time in the house, wishing we stayed longer than the weekend. The biggest part of it is how great Liz, the owner is. Liz was beyond accommodating and easy to work with, responding quickly to each of our questions. 10/10 would try and stay here again.

Lovely Beach Cottage

Perfect place to lay your head after a day at the beach. Convenient walking to Dewey Beach, restaurants, shops, and bars. After reading other reviews, we tried Sandy Pony Donuts at the end of the block and they didn't disappoint. Rehoboth is a short drive away, but really, stay in Dewey - we enjoyed it more there.

Dewey experience

The best part of our rental was the short walk to the beach. The air quality in the unit was terrible. Although there was a dehumidifier it smelled musty and damp. The furnishings are old and the unit is in need of a major update. The backyard area with grill was not very attractive. Table and chairs old and general landscape non existent

Nice home.

Home was as described, clean and had everything we needed. Gravel drive was a little hard to navigate beach accessories and luggage from car to home, but not a deal breaker. Home was clean and cozy. Grill out back was clean and had propane. Would recommend and possibly stay again in the future.
