Cutest little cabin! Great location for our stay. No privacy in the bedrooms but as they’re lofts connected by a bridge, that’s to be expected. Just changed in the bathroom, no worries. Couldn’t bring our luggage up the stairs as they’re spiral and I didn’t want to damage anything, but again, clear to see in the pics. Close to our fishing trip where we caught some huge salmon! Close to Susitna Brewery with delicious food and drinks. But more importantly close to my cousin. This was an ideal location for us. Definitely bring your bug spray as those buggers will be waiting for you to leave. No A/C, but the windows open was more than ample cooling for us. Overall an excellent stay for a few nights.
This is the first time I have had to leave a review like this. Wish there was an instruction book with instructions for where to put the trash to take out, where to put the used towels and linen as well as how to connect to the WiFi. All of that would have been helpful if there was a book on the table or counter. The beds were VERY hard and uncomfortable! My husband and I ended up buying a foam pad to get a good night sleep. No salt and pepper and only one steak knife. We also felt uneasy with the backdoor being very, very difficult to open.

Hello Deborah
I’m very confused it says you stayed with us over a month ago and you are now leaving a review, I’m curious as why nothing was brought to our attention as we do live next door and I’ve asked if there was anything need or anything we could accommodate you with.
There are instructions prior to check in as well listed on the Vrbo sight ☺️
You may possibly be getting your stay with us mixed up with another stay perhaps?
There is a large trashcan right beside the stairs located at the front door, on the side of the porch.
Along with all the other issues listed we have very subtle instructions as Vrbo has requested to not have a lot of “check out” rules for guests as it may not be appealing.
We do not ask for you to wash linens for check out instructions as we have cleaners for that, there is however a washer and dryer if that is what you are asking?
The cabin is fairly newly built, I’m not sure what issues may be speaking for doors not being able to open.
As for the beds, all beds are brand new, we have only been listed for rental for one year.
Each bed has different firmness to accommodate ☺️ there are 3 beds to choose from.
Have a good evening!
This is a great little cabin with parking right in front. The front porch was very welcoming with flowers on the outside of cabin with a small table and chairs to sit outside. Inside had fresh flowers in a vase very lovely touch. Full kitchen, gas stove, silverware, pots and pans, appliances washer and dryer. One thing that was not there but a minor one since we made do was a toaster. There is a fire ring on the side of the cabin with chairs to sit around while we enjoyed a fire with pre stocked firewood. Very nice bonus. A patio is in the back yard with table and chairs. There are shutters in the upstairs bedrooms which we did use since there's 19 hours of daylight to help you sleep. We would definitely recommend this place to others as it is a great location and not to far from the lake if you like to fish. Our host was definitely very attentive to all our needs during our entire stay. Thanks so much Marlene
