Timber Ridge is about a 20 minute drive to downtown Asheville, a scenic, 15-minute drive to Black Mountain and just a 15 minute drive will take you to I-40 or the parkway where so many adventures begin! Whether you feel like hiking Mt. Mitchell, Chimney Rock State Park, Looking Glass Falls or sitting on the rocking-chair porch at Mt. Pisgah after having a nice meal, you will be surrounded in beauty. When it comes to our mountains, we know the secret - within the beauty lies charm, romance and opportunity for a peace that is hard to define. Sharing our love of the mountains just seemed natural and so, it is our pleasure to offer our guests a pleasing getaway experience. We built almost every inch our "mountain retreat" ourselves, putting thought and care into its design and build.
Ronnie loves to watch the mountain scene from the Captain's seat of a small plane and has made a life hobby of travel and "never meeting a stranger."
Candice loves to be outdoors in "Discovery Mode" with Lacey, our Shih Tzu mix, or interacting in this fine community. There is so much to experience in our local mountain regions! And it's our pleasure to share our happy place and know of the positive experience it gives to our honored guests.
