Very clean property and responsive manager. The hot tub was great, but plan to warm it up to temp over night. Location is about nine minutes from lake lure near a smaller lake that was not damaged from Helene. Close to Chimney Rock, which was nice.

Truly lovely home to stay in! We would return in a heartbeat! House was supplied well with all the things to be comfortable. Beds comfy. Kitchen well-stocked. My favorite was the screened-in back porch. It is huge and great to relax on. And a huge reason we chose this home & worth it! Neighborhood had handy beach access for private neighborhood lake. Great views from pavilion. We enjoyed Chimney Top and Lake Lure while exploring. We also easily went into Asheville. Great local restaurants. Check out Hatchling Coffee!One note about accessibility- I am disabled and have trouble with stairs. I was thrilled to find a one level home in the mountains with only two steps up. I did not ask about stairs because I thought it was clear via photos. That is my fault entirely. We realized you are encouraged to park up on the gravel pull-off and take stairs down to the house. I spoke with Norma who was great and said we could park in the driveways and avoid the stairs. It is steep but our littke SUV had no trouble. So if you are similarly looking at this home for those reasons, reach out. And check out Chimey Top for the elevator in the mountain and Morse Park for paved walking trail if you have mobility issues.

Great host with great communication of check in and check out instructions. Cabin is in a very scenic mountain location. Cabin is in great condition and all amenities are as advertised. Everything you need for a great mountain vacation. The location is great. Short drive to Lake Lure and Chimney Rock. One hour to Ashville and 1 1/2 hours to Charlotte. Loca area is recovering from hurricane Helen nicely. We had a great stay. Everything exceed my expectations.
