About this property

Glamping Tent 5 Acre Amazing Views of Cascades Salish Sea & Mt Rainier - #1 of 4

Vashon Island is waiting for you at this cozy 1-bedroom glamping Bell Tent. The queen bed ensures a good night's sleep for guests. A refreshing shower awaits in the shared bathroom. The property also includes a washing machine & dryer for added convenience. We hope you enjoy what our place and Vashon has to offer. FYI: Racoons are around. They are wild animals & are not “you cute little friends”. Do not approach them, do not feed them, do not leave any food out. Coyotes are around but normally you won’t see them but you might hear them howl around full moons. If you see one do not approach them, do not feed them &leave no food outside.
At this time adults only but in future we plan to include families with children.

The glamping tent on this shared-use property was a great experience! The listing is accurate and Kory was a wonderful communicative and accommodating host. This is less than a mile from town so it's very convenient to pop into town for shopping, restaurants, and events. The field surrounding the tent was beautiful, whimsical, and gives a view of the Puget Sound. The tent was great and bed very comfortable. If you have a trip to Vashon and you're a laid back adventurist, you will love this place!

I am a Seattle born native. Steen Strawberry Farm 🍓 was established by my lumberjacking great-grandparents in the 1860s as they immigrated from Norway & proceeded to cut down all of the trees on Vashon (one of the ferry boats has photo of that time.

Why they chose this property

Great grandparents chose due to similarities to area in Norway they came from.

What makes this property unique

The property is 5 acres with only one acre developed & has view of Puget Sound from Contemplation Rock and several view spots of Mt Rainier and Cascades.
