I loved the treehouse! Wonderfully relaxing and quiet. Most days I sat in the yard and read until the tide came in a bit then threw a ball for the pup. Great quiet bay for paddle boarding. Jean-David responded to my questions within just a few minutes. I enjoyed my stay and hope to come back soon.
We had such a fabulous time last year that we returned for another stay. This place is magical. The place itself, the views, the island - everything. Can't recommend it highly enough!
What a relaxing stay! We loved the quiet and privacy of their treehouse! Everything we needed was there to make our meals There was even wonderful whole bean coffee and a grinder! There are books, puzzles, and a trivia game we enjoyed. It was a wonderful week spent with family! My adult son did choose to sleep on the couch rather than use the loft since the ceiling was very low.
The Treehouse is beautiful, secluded, well appointed, and exotic (an actual treehouse!). We enjoyed it thoroughly and felt we were in a fairy tale. The beds and couches are comfortable; the view of the water through the massive evergreens is magical; the games and DVD selection are great; the kitchen is well designed for cooking and eating; the decks are delightful; the beach and firepit are private. People with small children or balance or mobility challenges should know that the property has steep steps, uneven ground (especially on the steep path down to the beach), and separate entrances for the two levels of the living space, joined by an unprotected outdoor staircase (which could use better lighting). The clawfoot tub/shower is nice and laundry machines are great; be aware that you'll be using a composting toilet. This is a very special place--highly recommended.
We took our three young grandkids on a 4-day trip to the treehouse. The accommodations and location made for a terrific, and slightly rustic experience. The outdoor area, with expansive pebble beach, an orchard, and wooded area were magical for the kids, with lots of room to run and explore, as they searched for pirates any treasure left behind. The treehouse with its three levels made for fun times when we encountered a rainy day. The kids loved sleeping in the loft. You do have to go outside across a short area from the bedrooms into the bathhouse if you have to go to the bathroom during the night. The kitchen was well stocked, the furnishings were comfortable, and there was plenty of bedding. In all, the place is cozy and inviting. The host was responsive and helpful and check-in was easy. We’re likely to book it again next year.
This place is truly unique! We stayed over the holiday break and enjoyed the phenomenal views, the gorgeous beach and the quiet island lifestyle. Hope to visit again!
Very relaxing location. Kitchen and rooms were well stocked with supplies and extra linens. Our dog is older and needed to be carried down steps to the main house but no problem because she’s small. We would stay here again!
We celebrated my son’s 40th birthday at the tree house. There were many places for us to spread out and we were drawn to the outside with the beautiful weather. It was a memorable family gathering. Thanks for sharing your place with our family.
This little gem in the woods was everything we wanted for a quiet, relaxing weekend on Vashon. It was well appointed with all the amenities you could need and had great access to the beach. The best part were the views from the decks. We look forward to coming back to stay again one day soon!
Even better than the listing for people who like nature.
Beautiful location with big tree along the 2 balconies. The whole place was great but we really loved the waterfront. A seal came up to peak at us!
Perfect for relaxing and getting to anything on Vashon isn't too big a trip.
Location was perfect. The tree house was charming, with a great little beach front area. Well stocked kitchen, loads of pillows and blankets, and plenty of space. If you are arriving at night, you will need a flashlight and a sense of adventure as there is no signage and it is a bit of a walk from parking. The sleeping accommodations didn't end up being ideal for a girls get-a-way (main bed was good but an adult can't stand up in the loft and the futon was uncomfortable) however several of my friends plan to go back with their families. Highly recommend for those with children! Thank you for a fun weekend!
This is our second time returning to this gem. A wonderfully quiet hide away with breath taking views. The place is very rustic and charming with an easy check in process. The cleanliness could be improved but other than that, a wonderful get-away!
The treehouse is really special, perfect for adults or adults with children. Lots of treasures and wonders to explore in the tree house and on the beach. Great communication with the owner. Thanks!
Was hoping to find an experience that gave my friends from Indiana an idea of some of the best of the PNW and I sure did succeed! We loved the canoeing, the water was very manageable. The house was so comfortable, so creatively designed!
We really enjoyed the unique experience of being able to stay in the treehouse. Amenities we as described and one should think "a bit of glamping" when heading to this destination so as to only experience pleasant surprises around every corner. We had 5 total in our crew and fit comfortably. Really loved experiencing this little treasure and the property owner/manager was extremely friendly and helpful when needed! Its a treasure we surely enjoyed!
Honestly we had no idea what to expect for our first time in a tree house. It was truly exceptional.

We live across the road from this property and are happy to help! We are a family with two young kids and chose Vashon Island for the seclusion, quality of life, and the amazing community, including schools. We are Seattle-Vashon footferry commuters and can attest to the fact that it is the best commute in the area, if not in the US. This is a perfect place to call home for the weekend, week, or longer!
