A floor level, no steps, 2 bedroom, 1 bath (dual vanities) brick condo in Winfield Chase (#402) on Prince Avenue right off Loop 10. It is fully furnished with a completely outfitted kitchen for those interested in cooking meals. Each room has a queen-size bed and there is a queen-sized sleeper sofa as well. There is a laundry room and pool (closed 9/16/2022) on site for the complex. The bathroom has a sink for each room with the tub/water closet separating the two bedrooms.

It is seconds from the University of Georgia Health Science Campus and Athens Piedmont Hospital. Take a short walk to Normaltown for some good eats and old-style pubs. 2.1 miles to the Georgia Theater

It is just under 2 miles to Downtown and right at 3 miles to Sanford Stadium. You can jump on the loop and be at the Jack Turner Stadium for soccer and softball in no time.

Great 2 br apartment 5 minutes from UGA and downtown Athens. Very clean; comfortable beds; easy parking. Nice fluffy towels and bedding, even chilled tumblers in the freezer. Nice touch. Great tvs , nest heat and air.. Everything you need. Enjoyed the stay and the convenience.

The stay went well the communication with the host was terrible we ask of it was okay yo a get together with friends and the host said oka sure then flipped it and called the police and handle the situation in a very poor manner. using profanity at minors instead of telling us it wasn’t okay to have a gathering.

Game weekend and to see family.

We had the perfect weekend! The condo was perfect with everything we needed. Very clean and owners were super nice and responded quickly. Family came over to visit for a while and as they walked in they instantly said "wow! Great place!" Easy drive or Uber to downtown. Will definitely be back.

Convenient Townhouse/Apartment near UGA

We enjoyed our stay. Communication and checkin with the owners were excellent. The apartment is conveniently located about 6 minutes from downtown and close to the Athens Loop. Everything was very clean and in working condition. There is a slight smell of cigarette smoke and weed, but only right at the entrance to the apartment. It's kind of weird actually. Once you walk in, you don't smell anything. At the end of the day, this didn't bother us at all.

Overall great stay, would definitely stay again! Nice, clean, comfortable, and well equipped. Minutes from everything: UGA campus and stadium, restaurants, shops, pubs, coffee! - all things Athens. Great spot for a weekend visit to UGA; while not in the thick of downtown, just a short 5 minute uber down Prince Street - and actually a quiet / safe spot. Would absolutely stay there again. Great amenities as well!

Easy stay close to everything

We really enjoyed our stay here for gameday! Beds were very comfortable, and the pullout couch was easy to use for the kids. The hosts graciously made check in accommodations to help our arrival in Athens go more smoothly. A previous review mentioned the weed smell, which we noticed slightly upon arrival, but it increased when we saw the upstairs neighbors arrive home later in the weekend. I don't think there's much the hosts can do (maybe add candles), but worth noting if you're sensitive to that.

Heads Up

The place reeked of marijuana. The owners were responsive.. they apologized but said that a neighbor must be partaking in the smoking of weed. They also said that the HOA said nothing could be done about what people did inside his/her unit. The smell never lessened the whole weekend. My daughter and son-in-law were suppose to stay but couldn’t take the smell so they went to my youngest daughter’s apt. Heads up for others who are bothered by strong smells.

......you will find a recently painted one level property that is walking distance to Normaltown neighborhood. You will find several restaurants and pubs to have a nice meal. There is a Marketplace less than .5 mile for all of your groceries needs while you are here. It is a short trip down Prince Ave to the downtown area for additional shopping, restaurants and the University of Georgia.
