The Sutter Escape - NEW!

Welcome to The Sutter Escape, the front half of a modern duplex just one mile from Central Avenue in McKinleyville. You'll be centrally located near the town’s best restaurants and shops, and just a quick 11-minute drive to downtown Arcata.

This cozy retreat features two comfortable bedrooms—one with a King bed, the other with a Queen—each equipped with its own smart TV. The fully stocked kitchen includes everything you need to prepare a large meal and our spacious backyard is perfect for BBQs.

Enjoy a relaxing rain shower, a cozy living room with a smart TV and board games, and the convenience of an in-unit washer and dryer. Outside, you'll find a large fenced backyard, a spacious deck, and a BBQ grill—perfect for sunny afternoons. Our kitchen is stocked with all major cooking and baking utensils such as pots, pans, measuring cups, etc., as well as some specialty appliances such as a KitchenAid mixer, Ninja air fryer, Ninja blender, six-burner oven, electric tea kettle, and both a drip coffee and K-Cup machine (please note: coffee not provided).

Guests have access to street parking, a private driveway, and garage space. Please note: your nightly rate includes a 10% McKinleyville Transient Occupancy Tax and a 2% Humboldt County Lodging Alliance tax, collected on behalf of the city and county.

We’re pet-friendly! A $30 per dog, per day fee applies—guests are responsible for cleaning up after their pets.

We provide a high chair and pack and play crib for your family's convenience.

Internet speeds are 22.8 Mbps down / 10.7 Mbps up with 14ms latency. Please use your own streaming accounts (e.g., Netflix). For your safety, a Ring doorbell camera is installed on the front porch.
