Great home. Comfortable beds. Very clean. Nice common area to hang out. Note that the home does not have air conditioning. Usually not an issue in Colorado but we were there during some hot days and it was warm (they had plenty of fans).
We went as a party of 8 and had a wonderful time. The house was very pretty and the scenery was unbelievable. Everyone had plenty of room and enjoyed their rooms. Beds were comfortable. We enjoyed breakfast every morning on the patio. The hot tub was a great way to relax after long days of walking and shopping. Hope to stay again at this home. Host was very friendly and prompt to answer questions we had.
This house gets this review mostly because the upkeep of the property has been subpar. There were water bottles and Starbucks cups around the outside of the house. The house was clean and the hot tub and sauna were nice. The sauna is definitely older but laying a couple towels over large cracks helped keep cooler air out. The hot tub worked well given time to heat up and it’s definitely a nice view. The kitchen was well equipped. When we got to the house it was verrrry warm out for the the area. We were told to open windows to move air. Most of the windows have signs taped to them that they’re under construction and not to open, impeding air flow significantly. The windows that did open either the crank didn’t work, it was very hard or they didn’t have a screen. The doors did not work properly. The handles didn’t work the latch and you had to use the deadbolt. The front door seems to be the wrong size and had clear plastic adhered around the edges. All in all a great location, ok house with neat amenities and very responsive hosts.
We enjoyed our stay here very much. There was plenty of room for everyone. It was very relaxing with multiple amenities that we were able to enjoy when we needed some downtime. The views are great and it was easy getting in and out with it being close to the interstate. We came to go to a concert at Red Rocks and it was only about a 25-30 min drive to the amphitheater which was perfect. The owner left clear instructions for everything in the home where we could see them, that was very helpful. Clean and pet friendly.
This was a great find for us! First the location was perfect- close to everything- skiing, hiking, atv-ing, casinos, Red Rock and Denver. It's located in the foothills and there are beautiful views from every room, including the jacuzzi and sauna. The great room had a working wood stove that was set up to go with just one light and there was plenty of available wood for all the warming fires you could want. The kitchen was nicely appointed with many good appliancs( air fryer, crock pot, kuerig and standard coffee maker , etc, etc). I appreciated the filtered water pitcher- don't always want to drink from plastic bottles. The sheets, towels and mattresses were all good quality and enough blankets and pillows for everyone and more. We liked the electric wood chip smoker/ grill on the patio. We were on the go a lot but when back "home" - it was very comfortable and enjoyable. Everything worked and the jacuzzi was wonderful and sparkling clean. Our host communicated very well with us - always answering any questions or texts promptly. We had a lot fun in the game room and , while we had no small children, I noticed lots of "equipment" available for the little ones. Would I stay here again? - absolutely! Five stars
