Contemporary Flat on a Christmas tree farm 5 Minutes to Oregon State University
Located in the lower level of our home, the contemporary flat has an open concept design--2 bedrooms and one bath. There are hardwood floors and granite counter tops. The two bedrooms, each have a queen bed. Our couch in the main room pulls out into a queen bed. The bathroom has a large walk-in shower. As we are located on a Christmas tree farm, it is quiet with no near by traffic. My studio and display room are located on our Christmas tree farm--the display room is open 24/7!

We very much enjoyed our stay. Everything inside was clean, bed was comfortable. My mother has difficulty getting around and both beds were quite high, so we were happy to find a pull out sleeper in the couch for her. The rooms were pretty dim, even when all the lights were turned on. But this is still such a small thing and did not take away from our time. Thank you!
Great location as we came down for OSU parents weekend. Loved having space for our golden retriever and being able to make own meals rather than staying in a hotel. Beautiful property and loved the water feature outside the living room windows.
We give this home and our hosts our highest rating and recommendation. The home is very warm and inviting as well as comfortable. The bed is comfy, and the shower is amazing. We especially appreciate all of the artwork throughout the house. The views from both inside and outside the house are beautiful. We enjoyed the bird songs and birdwatching both from inside the house and the patio. last but not leadt our hosts Dale and Peggy were most gracious and welcoming. We enjoyed our stay tremendously and won't hesitate to stay again should the occasion arise.

The artistic elements of the accommodation and the landscaping with the decorative pond, all with artistic ceramics elements made the a wonderful place for our three-day stay. The property owner/manager wad delightful to talk with duribg our stay.
Excellent host and property. We brought our puppy and there was no problem with the owner also letting us host a small gathering for a bbq on the patio.
HIGHLY recommend! We will be coming back.
Was greeted when we arrived
The Christmas tree farm was fun along with the pottery shop
Was close to OSU and convenient to downtown
Would definitely recommend
The Donovan Tree Farm was a delightful place to stay. We appreciated the creative landscaping and the friendliness of the owner was unmatched.
Beautiful location, is comfortable, and met our needs completely! The ease of check-in and check-out was unbeatable. And a big bonus for us was that it was dog-friendly, but you'd never know it by its immaculate upkeep. We'd stay there again in a heartbeat.
Thank you for a wonderful stay.
Dale was a wonderful host and was great to talk to.
The property was excellent with a lot of wonderful charm. The electric vehicle charger work great on my Rivian. It was super close to campus and made it easy dropping off my child to Oregon State.

About the host
Hosted by Dale Donovan
I was born and raised in Corvallis. After high school, I spent 4 years in the military. Upon discharge, I enrolled and graduated from Oregon State University with a degree in art. I purchased the farm from my parents and built my studio and display room here. I have been a practicing ceramic artist since 1969. My wife and I now manage the farm, pottery and rentals together.
Why they chose this property
My mother's family came to Oregon via covered wagon in 1852. They settled in the Willamette Valley. In 1936 My father Arthur, moved from the mid-west, married my mother Lucille and they settled in Corvallis, purchasing the farm in 1953. I bought the property from my parents when I graduated from college. I planted Christmas trees and I have been selling pottery and trees here since.
What makes this property unique
Though the city has grown up around us, the tree farm remains a peaceful refuge. There is a ring of 200 year old Oregon white oaks around us. And almost every evening in the summer, a beautiful wind from the Pacific blows across the valley and through our oaks and firs.
