Contemporary Flat on a Christmas tree farm 5 Minutes to Oregon State University
Located in the lower level of our home, the contemporary flat has an open concept design--2 bedrooms and one bath. There are hardwood floors and granite counter tops. The two bedrooms, each have a queen bed. Our couch in the main room pulls out into a queen bed. The bathroom has a large walk-in shower. As we are located on a Christmas tree farm, it is quiet with no near by traffic. My studio and display room are located on our Christmas tree farm--the display room is open 24/7!

Such a cute and relaxing property. It was absolutely beautiful there. The house was well furnished and comfortable. The owner was so sweet and helpful. Close to Oregon State and anything else you could need. Would highly recommend
Absolutely the coolest place to stay in Corvallis! Check in was very easy and all the amenities you need to make you feel at home. Food/shopping/OSU within minutes from the farm so very convenient. We will be back next time we are in town!
It was a lovely property. Well maintained and the flat was very comfortable and cozy. Everything worked, the beds were comfortable, and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
Lovely host and fully outfitted kitchen. Quiet country setting but not that far from downtown Corvallis. Attending a child’s wedding also at the venue, could not be more convenient!
Great location as we came down for OSU parents weekend. Loved having space for our golden retriever and being able to make own meals rather than staying in a hotel. Beautiful property and loved the water feature outside the living room windows.
Was greeted when we arrived
The Christmas tree farm was fun along with the pottery shop
Was close to OSU and convenient to downtown
Would definitely recommend
Had a quick weekend trip to Oregon State and this was the perfect place to stay. Easy to get to, conveniently located to downtown and the university, beautiful grounds and the property was exactly as described and fit our needs. We'll be visiting again in the summer and hope to stay here again.
This is a beautiful home just minutes from downtown Corvallis but with the feel of a country retreat! Clean, quiet and comfortable with helpful and friendly hosts--we look forward to an opportunity to come back and stay here!
Stayed at this property for several nights. Dale is a wonderful host. House is well stocked and has many nice features. Don't forget to check out Dales pottery shop, I couldn't leave without something!

Cozy,comfortable,well-equipped, just fabulous
We truly enjoyed staying at Donovan 's. This two bedroom place is so cozy, comfortable, and well equipped on this beautiful Xmas tree farm. The beds are so comfy and the bathroom is so well-remodeled. Dale 's hospitality was one of a kind and my son enjoyed running around with their dog Luke. Can't wait to stay there again.
Loved sitting in the covered patio area looking out at the christmas tree farm. Plenty of room to spread out. Nice place. Dale and his wife are good folks, very helpful and easy going.
The hosts are incredible and the property is great - scenic and out of the way but easy to get anywhere from there. The apartment is well appointed and comfortable. Top notch!
Was impressed with the rental. The host Dale was great, gave a tour of the rental and gave a few suggestions for places to eat and was available anytime. Everything in the rental was clean and in good repair. The area was quiet and relaxing. I would rent from Dale again.
We visited our son in Corvallis. Dale and Peggy's place was the best place to stay! It was clean, cozy and comfortable. The location was pretty and unique! We even took home some beautiful pottery as a reminder of our stay. Thank you Dale and Peggy!
Our third visit to the Christmas Tree farm was so comfortable. Dale had the unit warmed up and ready to move in when we got there. Will see you next year!
Such a nice and interesting property. Has everything you need and you’ll never get bored looking at all of the amazing art both inside and out! Definitely check out the pottery studio. You might give a souvenir.

Beautiful home with lots of original artwork and lovely pond.
The home was beautiful, spacious, and comfortable. I especially liked the dining room. The beds were very comfortable which is important to me and my spouse. Dale showed me his beautiful art and I bought several pieces. Corvallis is a great little town with lots of restaurants and shopping.

About the host
Hosted by Dale Donovan
I was born and raised in Corvallis. After high school, I spent 4 years in the military. Upon discharge, I enrolled and graduated from Oregon State University with a degree in art. I purchased the farm from my parents and built my studio and display room here. I have been a practicing ceramic artist since 1969. My wife and I now manage the farm, pottery and rentals together.
Why they chose this property
My mother's family came to Oregon via covered wagon in 1852. They settled in the Willamette Valley. In 1936 My father Arthur, moved from the mid-west, married my mother Lucille and they settled in Corvallis, purchasing the farm in 1953. I bought the property from my parents when I graduated from college. I planted Christmas trees and I have been selling pottery and trees here since.
What makes this property unique
Though the city has grown up around us, the tree farm remains a peaceful refuge. There is a ring of 200 year old Oregon white oaks around us. And almost every evening in the summer, a beautiful wind from the Pacific blows across the valley and through our oaks and firs.
