Cottage#4
It comes with a full kitchen, a 3-piece bathroom, and all beddings provided. While the exterior hasn’t been renovated yet and the windows and doors are older, the cottage has its own charm and simplicity. It may not offer the same level of comfort as our newer cottages, but it's priced at nearly half, making it a great option for those who appreciate a more traditional, no-frills getaway.

Great lakefront view and amazing sunsets. Even had the Aurora borealis while sitting at the campfire. The cabin is rustic and has excellent proximity to wineries and Ontario parks. Randy is a fantastic caretaker at the location and always helpful.

We had a wonderful time at the resort! The cottage was very cozy and fully equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Randy was extremely nice and helpful, and the community at the resort was warm and welcoming. Being right in front of Consecon Lake was amazing—the sunsets were absolutely stunning. It’s also truly dog-friendly; our little furry friend had the best time! We 100% recommend this place.

We are so glad we found this gem. We just spent a week at this lovely resort and had a fantastic time. Randy, the lovely gentleman who oversees the resort, is an absolute pleasure and was incredible. We loved saying hi to other guests and also seeing all the doggies enjoying with their families. The waterfront view is to die for as well and we got to fish from the docks and swim as well. We stayed at cottage 4, we will be most certainly coming back. Thank you for everything!

Thank you so much for your wonderful words! We’re so happy you enjoyed your stay and loved the friendly, community vibe we have here at the resort. That’s exactly what we hope for — a place where guests can feel completely relaxed, just like at home, but with that special vacation feeling. We truly appreciate you embracing this atmosphere, and we can’t wait to welcome you back to Cottage 4 (or anywhere else you choose) for more fishing, swimming, and beautiful waterfront moments!
The cottage was cute and small but more than enough room for my too adult children and I as well as our dog. Loved being on the water, bonfires lakeside each night. We each had our own room, plus the kitchen dining and living area, all cute. We were lucky it wasn't too humid however fans were provided in each room, all amenities made it easy to pack. The only thing my kids may wish is that the door frames were a bit higher but as they are on the tall side I am sure this wouldn't affect most people. Another plus was the pool in addition to being on the lake, we loved our stay and the friendly staff
It advertised to sleep 6, 2 beds are doubles, single (thin mattress) last bed it couch that does not pull out. Had to ask for bedding for couch. Which was brought right away. Only enough chairs at table for 4 people

This cottage is not well maintenained and need to be fix up. We had cold nights in august (around 10 degrees) and we were so cold during the night. It is not isolated. We had to buy extra blankets and we had awful nights. The main problem, since it was cold at night, the bugs entered the cottage thru the different cracks on the windows and the door. We lived with many, many bugs and spiders during our whole trip. I understand that is is not a renovated cottage and it says "rustic" in the description, but there is a limit to rustic. We did not appreciate our stay. The only positive aspects of our stay was Randy the camping manager, he was amazing and very kind. We appreciated his recommandations. We also loved the lake view in front of the cottage. Because of the cottage itself, we do not recommand to stay there, espacially with children.

Thank you for your feedback. We know Cottage #4 is more rustic and not as comfortable as some of our other cottages, which is why the price is much lower. That said, we do provide a full kitchen, new bedding, and hot water to try and make the stay as comfortable as possible.
If you ever feel cold, you don’t need to buy extra blankets — we always have quilts and comforters available, and Randy would have been happy to bring you more if you called. We also have electric heaters that can be borrowed on cooler nights.
We’re glad you enjoyed the beautiful lake view and appreciated Randy’s kindness and recommendations. We’ll continue to make improvements while keeping this cottage as an affordable option for guests who enjoy a simple, rustic stay.
