Casa Lynda
Great place for son and I for place to stay for a baseball tournament. We wanted a bit more room than a hotel so we could have some space. The area is cute and very unique with businesses and restaurants within walking distance.

Wonderful stay in a great updated home with history. Comfortable, pleasant place to stay. Quiet location in a quiet neighborhood. The host was easy to work with, went out of her way to help, and quickly responsive when we had questions. We stayed for several days to attend a family wedding, and are so glad we did. Was just 35 minutes from the airport (more in rush hour) and 25 from the wedding venue. It is within easy walking distance of Tomball's main street shops (lots of antique shops!), and we LOVED the several restaurants we tried; Tomball seems to have high standards for its food!

Great review, this will be helpful to future guest that are not very familiar to the area. We also love all of the restaurants, if y'all didn't try it this time, maybe next, but Mel's Cafe and C.C.'s diner are great places to eat in Tomball!

We are from the Houston Area, this home just happens to have been my childhood home. I purchased it from my mom in 2021 and we used it for our Real Estate Appraisal business for several years. Now we hope that others get the chance to experience its charm and great location within the heart of Old Tomball. This home is named Casa Lynda, a homage to my mother, the great keeper of this home for so many years. I really got this idea of short term rental, so she could still enjoy it from time to time. It's the least I could do, for all she's done for me.

The neighborhood here is delightfully quiet and friendly, with a fun hustle of the old shops just two blocks away.
What makes this property unique
It is a historical home with lots of cottage charm and memories that give it a 'living spirit' with old soul! This is one of the Humble Oil Camp homes, moved into the city after the small town developed in the late 1800's on account of rich oil deposits. The quaint quietness of it location, with all the fun one could have within a 5 minute walk truly set it apart from the rest.
