Bide-A-While is located just steps from the scenic Shore Path, a short stroll to town, and minutes to Acadia National Park.
With elegance and grandeur throughout the home, the main floor has several living spaces for when guests want to spend time together or spread out - living room, game room, sun room, den/TV room, kitchen, and a formal dining room with a table that seats 12 people.
The wrap-around veranda on the water side of the house has seating for large groups, while overlooking the expansive, manicured lawn that stretches to the rocky coastline and is perfect for croquet and other favorite outdoor games - all with the scenic backdrop of Frenchman's Bay and the Porcupine Islands.
Ascending the grand staircase leads to the six guest bedrooms on the second floor. Two bedrooms with king beds, three with queen beds, and one with twin bunk beds.
The entire main and second levels of the home are available for guest use. The rental includes exclusive, private use of the entire estate.

Bide-A-While has been my wife's family summer home for over 40 years. We were married on the waterside lawn. Our daughter practiced some of her first steps on the veranda. Many of our best memories have taken place at Bide-A-While and in Bar Harbor. It is truly a magical place.
