Walking distance to McCormick Convention Center and Soldier Field ( places I needed to go during my Chicago visit ). Great brunch/lunch place on the corner.
Host was very communicable. The location was perfect for us as we had wedding festivities in the area and we were close to family who lived nearby. Condo is as shown in the listing and worked for two couples for the weekend.
Unit was as shown and location was perfect for an event at Soldier Field or to see a Chicago Sky game. Walkable to the Magnificent Mile with plenty of restaurants and shops in between. Unit was clean and kitchen stocked. A few issues arose during the stay and property manager was responsive and quick to address, although actions needed by others were not as strong as the manager. Property Manager responded quickly to all questions. The strictness of rules and parking and potential additional outcomes were overwhelming, although most likely needed due to previous guests.

There was a hiccup that wasn't exactly resolved with haste and meant one of our party had to use a hand towel instead of a regular one the first night, but otherwise the stay was fine. Except for the kitchen the units were full noshed quickly and cheaply, including lumpy floors, wobbly toilets, improperly mounted shower heads, and cheap furniture. That said, if the listing hasn't made it sound more luxurious none of that would matter, it is a good deal for the price. I certainly wasn't able to find better for a 2 bed 2 bath. Photo included is the unaltered view from the unit.

Okay place to stay in Chicago, but the host is seemingly very focused on ensuring that no more folks than indicated stay in the apartment. They seemed to feel this way even when we asked for more towels, as the host stated they had already provided us with one towel per person staying in the apartment. I wasn't sure why they were skeptical of us asking for more given many people prefer two for body and hair. All of the towels were very rough to the touch, and despite indicating we had 5 people sleeping at the location, one person was only given a sheet to sleep on the couch with no duvet or blanket. The apartment also had a funky smell which we noticed was coming from both the sink and the trash, despite us not cooking or throwing any food in either one. Overall okay, but would've expected a bit more in terms of basic towels, comforters, and a clean, non-smelling area being provided.

This property is in a great location with easy access to the lakefront, downtown and Midway airport. My concern is that the photos do not depict the grungy and unkept appearance of the unit. The property could use a full overhaul of the bathrooms. The bathtubs are heavily stained. The bathroom rug was ripped. The linens appear to have been just thrown in the closet. They did not have proper paper towels, instead they provided rolls of paper akin to a truck stop/gas station bathroom. Please review the towel/linen policy as they do not provide a top sheet with the duvet. To my surprise, they only replace towels every SEVEN days!! For my 4 night stay, each person had two wash cloths and 2 drying towels; not what I am accustomed to especially if they want a five star review. Who uses a towel for 7 days straight??? DISGUSTING. Response times were GREAT and I appreciate that! The kitchen was well appointed. Unfortunately, this property failed to meet my cleanliness and hygiene standards so it gets a poor rating for me. In short, the unit needs a LOT more attention to details.

Please read all disclosed information from the owner. We had many events to go but after only two of us had taken showers, we had run out of hot water. I notified the owner, but he said it was disclosed any information on the apartment. We had a very, difficult and time-consuming issues getting the parking voucher. The front bedroom door was extremely squeaky and so is the bed, the apartment had a mildew smell. The main floor after you walk into the security area was extremely dark overall having rented many VRBO‘s for the price that we paid. We were all very very disappointed. Even for the price we paid we were all very disappointed in this VRBO we are sad to say.
Hosts are highly professional with fantastic communication. Place was very clean and had everything we needed. I look forward to staying here again next time I visit Chicago!
Great location! It was close to everything we needed and the train station was just a short walk away. Property was exactly as advertised. We would definitely stay there again next time in Chicago!
