Welcome to this beautiful 2300 square foot new build home and experience life on Current River in Van Buren, Missouri.

This spacious home offers a huge open floor plan, 4 bedrooms, 2 of which are master suites. One master suite and one regular bedroom has patio doors that open up to a huge deck that spans the width of the home. 3 1/2 bath, granite countertops and new appliances with dishwasher included. Plenty of seating arrangements with a couch and 2 rocker recliner love seats, a farmhouse table that will seat 6 and 4 bar stools.

Huge windows and doors from the living area that open up to the deck outside where you can enjoy our beautiful Current River only a few feet away! Gravel bar right in front of the house and boat access only a short distance.

This home has everything you need for a comfortable stay. You're sure to make fantastic memories with a stay at our place.

This house is under construction and for sale so there is very limited necessities for an enjoyable stay. There are very limited items in the kitchen, a very small charcoal grill, no chairs on the porch to sit, no hand soap in the bathrooms, no trash cans in the bathrooms, no toiletries of any kind, very few towels and little toilet paper. The ground level of the house is under construction and is entirely open on both sides since they have not put doors or windows in. The finished part of the house is up about 30 stairs to a deck which has one end that is not finished and open. Not safe for children!!! Owner had lost the keys to the house so we could not lock the house while we stayed! I brought up my concerns to the owner and their response was basically, yip that’s how it is. If your looking for an expensive place to crash this would be ok if your looking for a house to cook and entertain a crew look elsewhere! If you have kids look elsewhere!

We understand your concerns like I said in response to your first message. The house is supplied with ample plates pots pans and cooking utensils. We have enough towels for up to 8 guest along with a washer and dryer in case towels or clothes are needed to be cleaned. As for as toiletries we explained that was your responsibility as we did not provide shampoo and conditioner for the guest. So far you have been the only guest to not bring their own shower items. I tried to explain that the house is not under construction. We have walled off 2 additional rooms in the lower level so that if purchased the new owner could finish the rooms to their liking. I know in your message you said if “ We made it right” you would not leave a bad review. I am sorry that in your opinion we did not make it right.

The location was great and the beds were comfortable and there were enough rooms for everyone that was in our party. However, it didn't seem like the house was ready for listing as a rental/VRBO. There was minimal furniture, no nightstands, no curtains on the windows, no coffee cups (but there was a coffee maker), no railing on the internal staircase (it appeared to be still under construction, no coat hangers to hang clothing, no towel hooks to hang towels after a shower, no coffee table, no chairs for the deck, no toilet paper holders, etc. Things like no artwork or rugs or anything to warm the place up are not a huge deal, but it just felt like the place was going up for sale soon and everything, but the couches, TV and beds were left to pack. During our stay they had people come and work on the roof and the workers utilized a loud air compressor and were utilizing the deck WHILE we were out there in the middle of the day and we were not provided the warning that they would be there. We had older people in our group that take naps during the day, and this was quite an issue. We were excited to have a place for everyone in the family to gather, but I wish we would have looked for a different place to have our family gather. I think this place could be good in the future, but it wasn't worth what we paid at the time.
