This unit is well maintained and has an extensive water color art collection of coastal wild birds by Christine Reichow in all rooms.

This unit has many amenities to make your beach vacation very enjoyable. We have DirecTV with DVR, HD signal and you will watch all that on a 55" LG OLED 4K smart flat screen TV. The unit also includes wireless high speed Spectrum internet. The condo will sleep up to 4 and has a full kitchen with new appliances including ice maker, two new full bathrooms, washer/dryer and a new heating and cooling system. Assigned parking at the building for two vehicles. Easy beach access is next to the building.

Primary bedroom has a queen bed and 55” Samsung Smart TV with DirecTV , Second bedroom has a queen bed, 570 thread count Egyptian cotton sheets and plush thick towels are provided for your stay. We think of everything so you don't have to!

This quiet 6 unit complex is sure to make your vacation to the beach relaxing and peaceful.

We have all experienced the superficial cleaning at hotels and rental properties which look clean but upon closer inspection you know it is not. My cleaning service does an exceptional job cleaning and is backed up by the 250 plus 5 star reviews.

We are located 7 blocks north of the boardwalk and fishing pier. The condo has easy access next to the building to get on the beach and this section is one of the best.

The host requires you to complete the following before checking out:
Load and start the dishwasher
Gather used towels
Remove personal items, remove leftover food and drinks and take out the rubbish
Turn off the lights and lock the doors
Put towels into the washer add supplied laundry detergent and start. Leave linens on the beds.
Turn thermostat to 78 summer/60 winter before you leave. All trash needs to be removed and placed in cans located in the carport. Checkout is by 10am.

Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.
please do not move any of the furniture around including the dining room table

Upon entering the home, you instantly breath a sigh of relief; as it delivers as advertised. Nice furnishings, clean kitchen, nice bathrooms, comfortable beds, stocked with paper towels, toilet paper, coffee filters, all the little things that make it special. Plus the location is steps away from beach access, and has great ocean views.

Property was very nice, great location, and very clean. The view of the sunrising was amazing in the mornings! Beds were a bit uncomfortable and could use an extra foam cushion. Other than that, would highly recommend this property. Will definitely be back!

Gorgeous Views, Clean and Comfortable!

My stay was unfortunately too quick but it was worthwhile. As stated it title, the view is spectacular and I enjoyed every second of it. The condo is well appointed and spacious. Stay in and cook if you want as the kitchen is well equipped. Shopping and restaurants are easily available as is the host. May was a great time to visit because everything is open but you don’t have the crowds. Will definitely return!

Nice beach stay

The location and facilities were great! The view of the ocean and the activity on the beach was wonderful. Parking for the unit we were in was good, but the other units within the building could have a challenge with a larger vehicle. Everything in the condo worked and was as advertised, but we found the Wifi weak and somewhat inconsistent when in the bedrooms. Thanks for the stay!

Exceptionally Clean and great location!

The unit was so clean. I was impressed! The location was perfect and the amenities were all you could ask for. My husband and I and another couple stayed here and we had plenty of private space. We cooked instead of going out and we had everything we needed. We will definitely mark this as one of our “favorites” and we will return!

Wonderful apartment and view

We spent 3 weeks in this terrific apartment and we couldn’t have been happier. The apartment is super comfortable and has everything one might need: comfortable sofa and chairs, open planned well-equipped kitchen with island, and nicely appointed rooms and bathrooms. And the cherry on top: the most gorgeous view of the beach from a generously sized balcony with two pairs of chairs with side tables. We highly recommend this place which is within a few steps from the beach in a not very crowded area even in the thick of the summer. And Rick, the owner, was flexible and super attentive to our needs.

Carolina Beach Recharge

All our expectations were met with this condo: spacious, super clean, tastefully decorated, great location and the ocean just steps away! There are plenty of things to do in the area, or you can frolic on the beach all day. Our routine consisted of short day trips during the day (Aquarium, Fort Fisher, Wrightsville Beach...), walking the beach, 4:00 pm "Happy Hour" and a walk to dinner in town (highly recommend Soul Flavor restaurant and the burgers at the gas station-Island burgers & bites.) The grand finale of our trip: a perfect view of the Thursday night fireworks right from our oceanside balcony!

Absolutely Wonderful

The apartment was just as listed. No surprises (of the negative kind!) I was surprised by the comfy bed and soft sheets. I was surprised by the setup of the kitchen; my typical experience with the pots, pans, silverware and etcetera in a rental is that they are fairly cheap and not in good repair. Here, everything was as nice as I would have had it in my own weekender. The cutlery was excellent, sharp, and a pleasure to cook with! The blender was also nice and made some excellent margaritas. As noted in other’s reviews, I was able to watch dolphins from the deck. - just so special for me coming from snowy, in-land Vermont! I think we were the only renters in the whole building, so it was super quiet. I worked most days and the wifi was excellent. I stayed in the back room and did get woken up a couple of times by late-night revellers, but not much can be done about that - it is a beach house, after all!! The location was great, a short drive to anything we needed, and the beach was right there! We did some excursions to Surf City and Topsail (pronounced Top-sull, for the uninitiated), and found many shark teeth fossils, and visited Wilmington, Fort Fisher, and Bald Head Island. A highlight was Flaming Amy’s Burrito Bar in Wilmington- definitely worth the stop. Rick was very responsive and easy to work with. I would definitely return to this property, and would rent from Rick again..

Sea Dunes III unit 2B

The unit had a good sized balcony overlooking the beach with comfortable high chairs and tables. The unit itself was no smoking, no pets but the other units allowed pets and so there were a couple of little dogs barking on and off. (Next time I'll ask about the other units.) The building's single interior stair well smelled bad, with urine odor on the 1A and 1B landing. The unit itself was immaculately clean and fresh. The interior finishes were beautiful and there was lots of light from the windows. The appliances were new and there was a Keurig. Loved the big glass showers.

Great quick trip to the beach!

My 80+ yo mom wanted to go to the beach for her birthday and be able to "see the ocean from the porch!" This condo fit that requirement and more! The place was immaculate. Yes, believe the pictures. The kitchen was wonderfully appointed with plenty of cookware and two coffee makers. We had dinners out but ate all our other meals in and never had a "do they have a thing" problem. As mentioned, we were able to sit on the porch and watch the ocean. We easily rented beach chairs and an umbrella and took advantage of a short walk to the beach from the condo. Parking is a little tight under the condo but this unit has prime parking and we didn't have a problem. Check in and out was easy and the directions were simple. The host quickly responded to all my questions. Our vacation was an easy success and we would not hesitate to rent this condo again.

I grew up in the upper midwest and now enjoy my winters much more along coastal NC with my wife and three children. I currently live just a short 10 minute drive from the beach condo, in Wilmington along the Cape Fear River.

My family and I enjoy the beach and all the activities available around the property.

If an issue ever comes up I can normally handle it quite quickly based on my proximity to the condo.

Why they chose this property

We purchased this property so we would have easy beach access and we really enjoy the small town feel of Carolina Beach.

We decided to completely renovate our condo in the style of what I look for when I rent on VRBO. I am super picky and I want a modern freshly renovated property which makes my stay more relaxed and enjoyable.

When you stay oceanfront, clearly you are choosing a property for the view.

I purchased this property because this condo unlike many has a 9' wall of windows that enhances the view allowing for a very open sense of space. The main living area (kitchen and living room) are in this space.
