I’m from Winston-Salem, NC, and my family and I spend as much time as we can at the coast. We love the small-town charm of Southport, the beaches of Oak Island, and the peaceful pace of life here. Hosting gives us the chance to share that same experience with others.
Why they chose this property
Our home is in a quiet coastal neighborhood with a true sense of community. Many of the residents have been here for years, and it’s the kind of place where neighbors wave hello, look out for each other, and make you feel welcome right away. Families often walk or bike in the evenings because it feels so safe and relaxed. What we enjoy most is the slower pace and friendly atmosphere, while still being just minutes from the beaches, waterfront, and all the charm of Southport. It’s the perfect mix of comfort and coastal getaway.
