The home was wonderful. We had a family gathering and everyone had their own space to spread out and enjoy. Location was great too! Laura was quick to respond to all my questions and I would stay here again if back in the area.

We recently stayed at The Hitching Post for a Friend-cation and it was PERFECT! The host was very responsive to all messages and responded quickly before, during and after the stay. Property, check-in and check-out information was clear and given in a timely manner. There was also ample parking. The house was clean and comfortable for our group of 8. We would definitely recommend a stay here!

Fantastic location for a large family or group of friends. The layout of the house provided for plenty of privacy in a large group, and the game room in the basement was a wonderful place to socialize. Location is great for visiting the bourbon trail and Louisville.

This is a wonderful home for a couple or a family! The beds are comfortable. It has everything you need in the kitchen. The neighborhood is quiet. The host is extremely responsive. It is all you could ask!

Unique and adorable house with a great space downstairs to hang out. Wonderful amenities and everything was great quality. Large amount of kitchen cookware. There were a couple of items to address and the staff contact was amazing and sorted it out quickly. No complaints, highly recommend. Walkable to downtown Shelbyville.

The keurig was broken and we bought pods for it. We didn’t realize until in the morning when we wanted to use it. I emailed the host to let her know. She did not get back to us until the night before we were leaving. She did order a new one and had it sent that night though. Also, there are no extra blankets in the house.
