Load and start the dishwasher
Gather used towels
Remove personal items, remove leftover food and drinks and take out the rubbish
Turn off the lights and lock the doors
* Run any dirty dishes in the dishwasher. * Take all used towels (only) to the downstairs bathroom.. *Make sure the hot-tub has the cover on it, temperature at !00 degrees and the water jets off
* Double-check all spaces for personal belongings. * Lock ALL doors and windows and turn off lights before you leave. * Turn HVAC on all floors back down to 60 degrees heat during the winter.
* Turn HVAC on all floors back up to 75 degrees cool during the summer. * Turn off the Fire Place off and Gas Grill * Take all remaining trash to the trash-can at the end of the driveway.
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.

This place looked brand new. We felt like we must be the first people to stay here. Evening is fresh and beautifully decorated. So clean Beds were heavenly. Lord of small touches like a bottle of wine, so many games, high quality furniture and fixtures.

We had a wonderful experience at Morningstar Overlook! The home, the setting and the views were all perfect! We so appreciate the added touches too, the wine, the note and the doggy items. We loved all the decor. The upstairs living area is great! As is the functional layout of the main level with the kitchen, living room and dining table - not to mention the access to the great wraparound porch!We made a few meals there and the kitchen was perfectly stocked and the hot tub was luxurious!We all commented on the comfortable mattresses and got great sleep! We even played the Galaga/Ms. Pacman. So fun!!!Morningstar Overlook exceeded our expectations in every way and we had a wonderful weekend!!! The host's thoughtfulness and care were felt all over the splendid property! We would love to return in the future!

Both our adult children have long left the nest. Many children in foster care have shared our lives and home and now we're entertained by our silly boxer (Lucy). We're world travelers and love spending time in our cabin in Dahlonega and sharing it with friends and guests.

We love Dahlonega!! It offers stunning outdoor opportunities, including hiking, waterfalls, scenic overlooks, and access to the Appalachian Trail. The area is also one of the premier wine regions in the Southeast, home to award-winning wineries and vineyards such as Wolf Mountain, Kaya, Frogtown, and Montaluce, making it a top destination for romantic getaways and wine tourism.

Dahlonega’s downtown square is filled with boutique shops, local restaurants, tasting rooms, and seasonal festivals, fostering a welcoming, small-town atmosphere. Known for its live music scene and friendly locals, the town blends nature, history, and culture in a way few places do.

Beautiful modern cabin. Secluded but close to Dahlonega, wineries and attractions. The cabin is new and spotless and has everything you need for a comfortable visit. Especially fun to spend time in the hot tub and playing on the Pac-Man machine—such fun touches! The view is stunning and nature s all around.
