We enjoyed everything about BV Creekside Home - we celebrated bringing in 2026! The home was perfect for 2 couples.The hosts were helpful with questions that we had.The furnishings were very nice and the kitchen was well stocked to make meals. It was so nice to have the creek in the backyard. It must be so beautiful in the summer.

The beds as well as bed and bath linens were top notch!! The neighborhood and proximity to downtown and parks is fabulous. Walking distance to a large creekside park. The creek runs through this gorgeous property so we will definitely be back in the summer!! Thank you for allowing us to stay in your home!

Perfect Location, Great Hosts

We come to BV quite a bit and this was our first time to stay "in town". The house is situated perfectly to be within walking distance of Main street, but secluded and quiet. The owners have thought of everything - including directions for making hummingbird food - and they clearly know the area well. The house, the creek, the location, all were excellent. I highly recommend staying here and we will definitely book again.

Best VRBO in BV!

We have stayed here many times and we continue to love this cute little victorian. There have been recent upgrades including an upstairs bathroom that go the extra mile. Great weekend away

My husband and I, along with another couple, needed a weekend away in the mountains. We've always loved Buena Vista. This house was the PERFECT spot to relax and play games and also be close to town to grab a bite or find a cute shop. The house is absolutely perfect with just the right amenities, a gorgeous fireplace, and in the best location. Thank you for sharing your home!!

Very nice, great location

The house is very nice and has everything you need. The rooms are great (mattress not so much), however I have back and neck injuries I am still recovering from so we have a Purple mattress at home. The yard was perfect for our dog. Overall wonderful place and we will be returning in the future.

Weekend getaway

We wanted a relaxing weekend with our daughter and son-in-law before their baby’s due date. We also needed a place to cook meals, due to diet restrictions. The home was so comfortable, beautiful, and clean, and the kitchen was stocked with all the items to cook good meals. The large cast iron skillet, good books to read, stores nearby, a creek outside to sit by and hiking within minutes made this place perfect. The owner was easy to connect with and very accommodating. We hope to come again to this home!

This home and property are wonderful. Everything you could want for a vacation was provided: room to spread out, a sunny, well stocked stocked kitchen, comfortable beds with 5 star hotel bedding and thick towels in each bathroom. It is also a very well loved and charmingly decorated home. A treat is the property itself. We watched birds and squirrels and were visited by deer and a red fox - it felt like a private park, just a few blocks from the center of town. Looking forward to a return trip!

Thanksgiving retreat

Beautiful home with a lot of character. Main suite was really nice with a beautiful shower. Host was extremely accommodating and available for any request or question we had. The neighborhood is in a prime location, we rode our bikes into town. Lots of deer in the area at this time of year and we would wake up every morning to them grazing in the big yard. You also are right by a creek and can have your coffee next to the water. We really enjoyed our stay and all this home had to offer.

This house feels like going home. It's well stocked, comfortable, and so easy. Kitchen is stocked with everything you would ever need. Great communication with the host. House is located next to a creek and two blocks from the park. Short walk to downtown. Was nervous about six people being comfortable sleeping and it worked great. Master bed was so comfortable. Totally will be coming back.

Beautiful, historic, updated, spacious 2 bedroom house in the heart of Buena Vista

This is a beautiful old house that has been thoroughly updated and nicely furnished and decorated set on a large property a couple of blocks from the stop light in BV. The original part of the house was built in 1882, but it has been thoroughly renovated and there is also a modern addition. The yard is large, fenced, and includes numerous flower gardens and trees and extends down to Cottonwood Creek. The yard itself is a very nice place to hang out, though we were busy doing other BV things. A very nice place. The owners are very communicative and helpful. Our family has been renting a place in BV for 14 or 15 years once or twice a summer, and this is the best place we've stayed. Will definitely look here first if we come back with a large enough party to justify staying in such a spacious place.

A beautiful home in a beautiful place

Our family is familiar with the charming mountain town of Buena Vista, having stayed several times at different properties in BV. This lovely home is, by far, the most delightful place for a short or extended stay. It is well equipped with everything one would need and decorated with impeccable taste. It is located in a residential area yet close enough walk to 'downtown' .

Charming spacious home near town

What a special little house! It was perfect for us and our family, and we enjoyed our stay immensely. The master bedroom and bath upstairs are all renovated and so very comfortable. We also loved the cute kitchen, and the extra bathroom downstairs , and the deep jetted tub!

Relaxing home in the middle of Buena Vista.

The homeowners went above and beyond to supply all the necessary essentials for our stay. The coffee bar for breakfast, spices, toiletries, real orchids and plants all added to to the comfort of our stay.. we saw deer every evening eating in backyard, a mother fox and her pups playing in the yard across the street. If we ever come back we will definitely stay here again. We highly recommend this vacation rental.
