Feels secluded but close to beach. Adorable house and beautiful property. Close to great little restaurants. Pool is bigger than pics make it look and this place was perfect for a getaway. House was well equipped and hosts were very accommodating and easy to work with!
A lot of potential for this lovely private property. Location close drive to beautiful beach. Plunge pool with fountain great, house and casita could use upgrades, but that’s factored into the price in my opinion to recommend Casa Mora
Beautiful property, perfect if you are wanting something low key and remote. It is a 7 mins walk to the beach. Very quick at responding when we needed help with opening one of the doors. Ideal spot if you are wanting to be away from big town but wanting a low key beach vacation with friends or family!
The Casa Mora is aging a lot and is in need of repair all around, little pool is leaking a lot, outside shower plumbing is clog since long, septic tank is probanly full, it

Enjoyed everything about this beautiful Villaesque lodging with its lush botanical walled grounds. Plenty of birds, hummingbirds everyday and other daily visits from a plethora of winged visitors to the pool's waterfall. Monkeys, a colorful squirrel and 2 cats passed through as well. The property is a brief walk along a shaded trail to the beach.

Make sure the air conditioners work. Label the keys, Air out the place before arrivals. Be more clear that the second bath only has a sink and toilet; the shower is separate. Provide standing fans as the kitchen fan doesn't work and one is needed by the dining table. There is no walking beach access as the gate was jammed shut, so we had to drive. This is a big difference from the advertisement.

Thank you for your feedback and for sharing these observations. We appreciate you taking the time to let us know.
We addressed the air conditioning, ventilation, and comfort-related items the first night of your stay, and we have since improved key labeling, added standing fans, and updated the listing to more clearly explain the bathroom layout.
Regarding beach access, the gate mentioned is a privately owned gate that is not under our direct control. When we became aware it was temporarily jammed, we immediately reported it so it could be resolved. We understand how this impacted your experience and apologize for the inconvenience.
Feedback like yours helps us identify areas to improve communication and guest comfort, and we appreciate the opportunity to address these items.
We really enjoyed our stay at Casa Mora. The pool, front porch, and grounds are spectacular. The house worked out great for the two of us. It is modest, but clean and safe. If you are traveling with nonfamily members, just know that you have to walk through the front bedrooom from the back bedroom to access the bathroom. It wasn't a problem for us. Four great restaurants within walking distance. Very peaceful and relaxing. You pretty much have the beach to your yourself. It is gorgeous. I would recommend both this house and the area.
Perfect quiet get away! My wife and I wanted a relaxing break and that is exactly what we got. The kitchen is small but had everything that we needed for preparing the majority of our meals. Host recommended picking up groceries prior to driving out to the more rural area. Which was a good idea. There is a small grocery/liquor store a couple of miles from the house. There are quite a few places nearby to go to eat, if desired. The small pool was a regular oasis for us every day, as temperatures were already reaching into the 90's F.. Beaches were close by although a little further than I wanted to walk. Great for sunset visits. All around a very enjoyable, relaxing stay.
We loved our little home for a week. It was clean, comfortable, attractive, and well-stocked with kitchen supplies, towels and bedding, games and books, and laundry facilities. Everything worked - plumbing, air-conditioning, kichen appliances, wi-fi, etc. The plunge pool was fantastic! It seemed, however, like more than 200 hundred steps to the beach, especially before we figured out how to unlock the stubborn gate. But the short walk was well worth it - the beach was incredible: miles of practically deserted pristine sand! Twice, we watched baby turtles being released into the sea from the hatchery down the beach, and every evening we watched an incredible sunset. Junquillal is a quiet little community with a handful of houses and resorts. There are a few local restaurants, and a small grocery store within walking distance of Casa Mora. We cooked our own meals at the casa, and found everything we needed at the supermarcado. Everyone, from residents to tourists, was friendly and helpful. Unless you like to surf, have a car, or feel comfortable taking a local bus (we went to Tamarindo by bus and found it quite esay) Junquilla has few entertainment options. It's a wonderful place just to relax, walk the beach, or play in the surf.
