Had a great stay here during a weekend of hiking. The cabin is incredibly nice inside and out. The hot tub was clutch after the hikes. Friend especially loved the bathroom amenities (heated floor, heated towel rack). The front deck is beautiful especially in the morning with a bit of running water nearby, hummingbirds hovering, and across the fence cows grazing. Location-wise it's both off the beaten path enough to have a relaxing/get away feel but close enough to towns to have options on going out. Pamela responded quickly and was very gracious. Definitely recommend and would stay here again if back in the area!

Beautiful Getaway

We loved our stay at the Winding Creek and would highly recommend it to couples that want to get away. I was amazed at how beautiful and cozy it was! I shouldn’t have been because it looked exactly like the pictures on VRBO. We were so comfortable and relaxed we didn’t want to leave! The extras that were available to us were a special little touch (teas, coffees, books, robes). They also had a basket for our little dog that included bowls, a leash, a new chew toy, a blanket, and a special wipe off towel! We did bring our own blankets and dog bed for our dog to lay on. The queen size bed was very very comfortable. The bathroom has a wonderful shower, and I loved the copper sink! As much as we loved inside the cabin, the outside was just as beautiful. You can hear the creek rippling in the back as you sit on the back porch. We didn’t use the hot tub or the barbecue grill, but they were available to us. All and all, it was the best, cleanest, and coziest cabins we have yet to stay in. Our electricity did go out for a few hours, but the owners quickly responded. They hooked us up to a generator so we had internet and power to the refrigerator. They are VERY nice people. Any questions we had, they responded quickly and kindly. We will be returning again!!!
