Resting by open fields, this lovely guest cottage is the perfect place for a getaway stay. Beautifully appointed with classic architecture and lots of light, it has one bedroom with a queen-sized bed, one full bath, a sitting and dining area, and a kitchenette. A couch in the living area is long enough for another sleeping location. The cottage is located fifteen minutes from downtown New Haven, Connecticut. There is a public walking trail across the street, winding around open fields and by a community garden.

We had a great stay while we were in the area for a bike race at Powder Ridge. Sharon was very friendly and responsive and her place was exactly as described and pictured. Very clean, quiet and comfortable. We'd definitely stay again!

Flowers , nature , cleanliness and comfort spring to mind. I regret very much our stay was cut short.Really enjoyed it after taxing journey from Poland. Sharon and her partner were very nice and always available.

Terrific place to stay!

We stayed here for Yale commencement. It was an ideal place to stay, a quick and easy drive to New Haven and a wonderfully quiet, lovely cottage in a beautiful setting. If on'y we'd had time, I would have loved to walk the nearby trail/path. Sharon was helpful both before and during our stay. The cottage is immaculate, and very comfortable. Would stay here again in a heartbeat!

Quaint, clean, well appointed cottage nestled on an idyllic property with beautiful views from every window. An outdoor seating area surrounded by tasteful gardens and peaceful walking trails are just steps away. This property far exceeded our expectations. Sharon was very lovely, accommodating and responsive. We will be visiting again!

Fabulous quiet getaway

We were on a college tour and wanted to stay somewhere close enough to the University of New Haven but not in a busy area. Our host was lovely and the cottage was exactly as pictured. Even better than pictured! It was clean, fresh, beautifully appointed, and comfortable. I wish we'd been able to stay another night. The park across the street had lovely trails to wander for a good hour or more, too. All in all, we had a perfect stay.

A Woodbridge Gem

We had a wonderful stay in this serene Woodbridge gem. The hosts, the setting, the gardens and the cottage itself are all quite lovely. It is also very nicely situated directly across from the Fitzgerald Tract Trails, allowing guests to simply cross the road to explore its various walking trails and community gardens. We highly recommend it.

True home away from home

This is our second visit to this beautiful little cottage while we move our daughter in and out of college. I hoped to find a place like this that we could consider home base for the next four years and this property is exactly right. Sharon is an outstanding host. Her communication is fast and she is warm and welcoming. The cottage is clean and cozy with a comfy bed and wonderful shower. Thank you for a wonderful stay!
