Chassahowitzka/Homossassa River Front With Two Kayaks

I completely remodeled the Water Front Property with beautiful furnishings. The kitchen is fully stocked with everything you will need to prepare meals. Large Master bedroom with a King bed and a Second bedroom with a Queen bed. Fast Wi-Fi, 65' Television in the Living room, and 55' in the Master. Both are hooked up to Cable with Free movies. The phone is connected for local calls. Large lanai room to enjoy a meal, morning coffee, or watch the fish jumping out of the water. The yard has two covered parking spots, plenty of room to store a boat trailer, a boat slip for small boats, a propane BBQ grill, and a waterfront deck for fishing out the back door. Two Fishing Kayaks are available for use AT YOUR OWN RISK. THE OWNER HAS NO LIABILITY IF USED.
We are within walking distance of the Chassahowitzka campgrounds boat ramp, bait shop, and bar/restaurant.
Great location in a country-like setting. The canal leads to Chassahowitzka River, and 7 Sisters Springs is nearby.

Load and start the dishwasher
Strip any used beds and gather used towels
Remove personal items, remove leftover food and drinks and take out the rubbish
Turn off the lights, lock the doors and return the keys

Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.
Quiet time is at 11:00 pm. No smoking in the house. All Pets must be approved before arriving. No exceptions. Yard service each each week.
If you bring more guests than your reservation, you will be asked to leave, and no refund will be issued. NO PARTIES!
Surveillance or recording devices on the property—They are Turned off at check-in. They are located in the Living Room, Patio, and Carport.

Stayed for a few nights for local travel. House was clean (although the scent of cleaning products was VERY heavy), comfortable beds, well-stocked, good water pressure. Ceiling fans in bedrooms made quite a bit of noise so they could not really be used without sleep disruption.

Family Fun on the Water

We chose this home based on the great reviews highlighting its cleanliness, convenient location, and dog-friendly policy—all of which were spot on. Cleanliness is very important to us, and this home did not disappoint. We were in town visiting family and had a wonderful stay. The house looked exactly as advertised—stylish, comfortable, and welcoming. We also enjoyed spending time in the outdoor space. It was a nice touch to have essential kitchen and bathroom items provided. Overall, a great stay and we'd gladly return!

Awesome place

Incredible Home! Wonderful Stay!

This home was an exceptional place to spend time in. The set up was very relaxing, comfortable and functional. Absolutely everything we wanted was here from cooking supplies to bedroom and bathroom needs. The cleanliness was top notch. The host responded quickly to any questions we had. We would certainly book this home again if in the area.

Great place

The trailer was very clean, neat & organized (kitchen dishes, towels, etc). It was just right for my boyfriend, myself & our two dogs. We were there to scallop & go paddle boarding In the Chassahowitzka & Weeki Wachee Rivers. It was comforting knowing our dogs were safe & content while we were away. The neighbors are very friendly, we spoke most days. Absolutely no complaints-Would highly recommend this rental! Thank you for accepting our reservation! 👍👍

Wonderful Stay on the Chassahowitzka!

We honestly had a phenomenal time. The listing was exactly as posted. The home and decorations are wonderful and make for a very relaxed and comfortable stay. It was just my hubby and my little brother and are two small puppies. We had more then enough room. We had one minor issue with a shower handle and the communication back and forth with the owner was amazing, quick, and very pleasant. There are two very nice kayaks to use but we brought our own. Both days we put in right from the dock in the back and kayaked up to the Chassahowitzka. It was an adventurous path but make sure you kayak up to "Chaz's Crack". Overall we had an amazing time. We did leave a deck of Uno Cards so think of us if you are at the cabin! We really had a GREAT time!

We Loved the Chazz!!

The rental was totally remodeled and tastefully done. It was bright an open floor plan. The appliances were new and everything was so clean. The beds were very comfortable. The cable and Internet was fast and reliable. My favorite was the glassed in room outback, it was great for early morning coffee! The lawn was well kept and freshly mowed. The neighborhood was quiet and a great place to ride bicycles. The boat ramp where we launched our kayaks was close and we made an evening walk almost every day. And the river was a fabulous place to paddle we loved it. We are already planning a return visit next spring! We love this place . We had fast response to all communication with the owner , she was great !! Thanks again for sharing your home with us! Gary and Fran

Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt sehr genossen. Das Haus liegt in einer ruhigen Gegend, ist sehr sauber und liebevoll eingerichtet. Eine toll ausgestattete Küche, 2 saubere Bäder, bequeme Betten, guter WLAN-Empfang und viel Platz. Die beiden 1-Personen-Kajaks sind super und es hat viel Spaß gemacht und es war für unsere Kinder ein tolles Abenteuer, gleich hinter dem Haus zu paddeln. Vielen Dank dass wir hier ein paar Tage verbringen konnten.

Excellent! STAY HERE! Super cute! Extremely clean. The river is literally in the back yard. The enclosed porch was awesome as well as the deck and covered boat dock area. The kayaks are a added bonus and they can be launched right there. Everything you need inside and out! Stay here. You will be happy you did. We will be back!

Great Location, Comfortable home with Everything!!

Very clean and up to date. Everything you need for your stay. We cooked in every night. Backyard is on the channel and is so very peaceful (we were there in Dec.) Good location, close to grocery and a very short drive to Crystal River for our Manatee and Airboat adventures. Will definitely stay again. Questions posed to our host were answered within minutes so super quick response time. Loved it and we will be back!

River retreat

Beautiful ! conveniently located to restaurants and convenient stores . It’s right on the river very relaxing. It was nice . The weather was back and forth some sunshine and rain so we stayed inside most of the stay the games provided was awesome! Thank you for the hospitality!

It's a waterfront! Bonus - it's cute and very clean.

Our air was out at home, so we found this place about 15 minutes from our house. The air conditioner did not disappoint; the rest of the place was just as good. It's very clean, cute, and has everything you should need already there, except the chef. Lol. We couldn't get the TV/cable to come on and the hosts called us immediately to help solve the problem. Nothing was wrong with either, the last guest just plugged it back up wrong after connecting one of their devices. I'd stay again without a doubt. You can fish right from the backyard! Thank you for being great hosts!

Nice Property, Even Better Host

Nice home, very comfortable in a quiet neighborhood with friendly neighbors. Marni is responsive and caring, there were a couple little things that she took care of immediately, couldn't ask for more. We enjoyed our month in Homosassa immensely. We got some tips on local places to eat from a friend of Marni's & they were very good. If staying in the area, don't miss Kim's, Art's Diner & Two Guys From Italy... great food from locals. Many thanks for everything!

This property has been in my family since 1977. My husband and I live in Arizona. We decided to remold the property to continue enjoying this piece of paradise. My fondest childhood memories were spent here.

Why they chose this property

It is located on a quiet, dead-end street. Canal in the backyard and you can fish right off the deck. It is very peaceful and so much wildlife.

What makes this property unique

The property has everything you need. Wi-Fi, two televisions, cable, home phone and alarm system. The bonus is a large screen porch for relaxing after a long day of fishing.
