Was very disappointed in our stay. The pictures, and more importantly, the description of the property were not at all accurate. The home has a ton of potential but in the current state it feels more like a fraternity house that had been “cleaned up” by the frat boys before their parents came to visit. Broken blinds, cracks in the ceilings, doors that don’t close properly, a shower upstairs that is so spongy you feel like you’ll fall through the floor, fabric and cardboard dressers, ratty and torn couches, an extension card from upstairs, ran down the staircase to the living room that is plugged into another smaller extension cord to run the TV, other than the front porch the outside is completely unusable. Visible water damage showing in the downstairs bedroom along with a broken handrail and stained carpet. We didn’t use the kitchen for cooking but the cook top had crusted food and the cookware was in poor shape. The dishwasher doesn’t fit in the hole properly so it’s being held in place with metal pieces. Lightbulbs out in multiple light fixtures, cobwebs and dust bunnies everywhere and just generally not clean. No fluffy towels, only dingy and stained towels, we had to call and have more delivered. No amenities as described, no coffee, soaps, shampoo, body wash, etc. The best part was the size, the beds were comfortable and the proximity to Cherry Street. If I had been in my 20’s looking for a half decent place to recover from a hangover, this fits the bill, but, I’m not

The pictures are a bit deceptive , the game room was very tiny. I realize it’s an old home, but several doors would not shut, or stay shut. Temperature was very inconsistent. One room was freezing while we sweated all night. Host was perfect.
