Pawfect Retreat – 3Bed, Dog Lovers’ Luxe Heritage Home,5 minutes to town!
Hey there, I’m Bob the Boxer! Welcome to my holiday home. This isn’t just a place where dogs are “allowed.” Nope. Here, we’re the stars of the show. Horizons is my idea of heaven—a luxe Federation home that’s been lovingly restored so four-legged VIPs like me can kick back in style while our humans relax too.
Think cosy dog beds, treats on arrival, fully fenced gardens for zoomies, and house rules that say yes to pups on couches. It’s a proper holiday—for paws and people.
Why It’s Pawfect
Dog-first accommodation: Fresh treats, bedding, toys, bowls and towels—everything a pup needs for a proper holiday.
Freedom to roam: Fully fenced gardens and relaxed house rules mean we can curl up on couches, sprawl across beds, and claim every sunny patch.
Room for 6 humans: Adults only (13+). Great for couples, friends, or solo travellers who don’t leave us behind.
Luxury meets charm: A grand Federation-era home full of character and high-end comfort.
Prime location: Nestled among other gorgeous heritage homes and just a 5–10 minute stroll to town, shops, and dog-friendly cafés.
The Vibe
From the moment you arrive, Horizons makes tails wag with its lush gardens and stunning street appeal. Inside, you’re greeted by a wide entry hallway with soaring ceilings (great for echoey barks).
Two front bedrooms are flooded with natural light—perfect nap zones. There’s a cosy reading room for humans and a theatre room for movie nights (don’t forget snacks for us). French doors open to a wide verandah where you can watch the sunset together.
The lounge is perfect for chilly evenings with a crackling woodfire. Another set of French doors leads out to a peaceful garden courtyard—ideal for morning coffee or an evening wine while your pup keeps guard.
The Heart of the Home
The rear extension houses a spacious country-style kitchen and dining area, and a double stainless sink. Off here, you’ll find a family bathroom with a clawfoot tub for soaking those tired paws, plus a big laundry/mudroom for storing all your gear with direct garden access.
Upstairs – The Showstopper
Up top, there’s a vaulted master suite with a Juliet balcony, a dreamy window seat for curling up with a book, and a sitting nook with a smart TV. The luxury Tempur mattress? My humans say it’s like sleeping on clouds. I wouldn’t know—I may or may not have tested it first.
The Gardens
Ah, my favourite part. Horizons’ gardens are lush and mature, with fruit trees, herbs for human cooking (yawn), and a chiminea firepit for evenings under the stars. There are also shady nooks perfect for a pup nap after a big day of sniffing.
Heads Up – No Little Humans
This place isn’t set up for kids. The furniture isn’t fixed to walls, and both the stairs and garden aren’t designed with young ones in mind. We appreciate your understanding—it helps keep everyone safe.
