The hosts were amazing attentive and thoughtful without being overbearing. The property was spotless and the design was beautiful. I wouldn’t change a thing and would happily return.

Thank you so much, Michelle! We loved having you and hope to host you again in the future.
This was the nicest Vrbo that we have ever stayed. It's so tastefully decorated as well. We absolutely loved this place. I did want to say that we arrived to the place and there was a sweet note and some goodies that we really appreciated. We can't wait to return and Suzanne is super responsive if you ever have any questions. Can't wait to return.

We absolutely loved hosting you and hope to see you again!
This property is well-appointed in an upscale neighborhood with convenient access to the bike trail. The beds were very comfortable! The host provided a lot of little extras in the house as welcome items - very thoughtful. I gave it 4 stars primarily because I feel the advertising was misleading. This "private" guest house is immediately adjacent to the main house where the hosts live. You share a driveway and look out the window to their house. In addition, we had people camping on the other side of the guest house during our stay. Lastly, my shower had hair in it that wasn't mine. Most importantly to me was the fact that although this VRBO is "on the Bigwood River", you can neither see nor hear the river from the guest house. The distance to the main channel is over 450 feet away. When the river runs high in the spring, I am sure this changes. For most of the year, however, the property is riverfront, the guest house is not. The river is walkable through the natural area, following game trails, but there is no place to sit and enjoy the river on this property. I had planned on relaxing on the patio, meditating, etc. while listening to the river. If someone else had explained that the small patios can neither see nor hear the river, I would have selected another rental. There are others available that actually do have river and/or creek frontage with beautiful patios where you can enjoy the water while dining, visiting, etc.
Suzanne truly went far and beyond! A welcome basket, stocked refrigerator and recommendations of local restaurants to name a few. Also frequent texts to verify our needs. The home is high quality down to the utensils. A convenient location to Ketchum and Hailey and incredible views just outside our doorstep including a herd of Elk. We cannot over emphasize the details that were afforded to our visit. 5 Stars!!!
This property is a true treasure. We have stayed in numerous short-term rentals in various states and countries, but none with the level of architectural detail or quality workmanship as this property. We have stayed in short-term rentals in the Ketchum / Sun Valley area many times and this property is our favorite by far. The hosts were very gracious and responsive and provided us with a generous welcoming package. The property is located in a quiet, wooded area offering privacy in a beautiful setting. We shall return!Bill, Pam, Chip & Sharon

We loved hosting you and hope you come again. The elk will be waiting for you. :)
We had an incredible stay at the Bigwood River Retreat. Suzanne was a phenomenal communicator from the start, answering all of our questions and offering some great hiking, activity, and dining suggestions. Walking into the home was like stepping into an Architectural Digest article crossed with a Crate & Barrel / RH catalog... stunning, yet warm and cozy. On top of that, there was a thoughtful note and a wonderful basket of snacks and treats to make our stay even more special. We most enjoyed sitting outside on the back patio surrounded by the beautiful aspen trees. We also fly-fished in the stream every day after hiking, enjoying the cool water on our tired feet and legs. On our last evening, we looked out the front window to see a herd of about 20 elk, including some young ones, grazing in the front yard! We are already looking forward to our next visit and stay at Bigwood River Retreat!

Wonderful location, beautifully appointed, excellent communication. We saw deer and elk just steps from our door. Generous welcome package of goodies was delicious. A quiet spot outside of Ketchum. We hope to return!
