Love Week Away

A lovely, spacious villa that gave us a comfortable place to relax with friends after some hectic days. It had everything (and more) that we could ask for - large areas for entertainment from the pool / BBQ to a games room and great chill spaces from the cinema. Comms with the owner and property manager before and during our stay were very good and we look forward to returning some time in the future. Thanks

The house was fantastic and close to all of the theme parks. Management company was responsive and fantastic. I could not have asked for more. It took all the stress out of traveling. Would stay here again in an instant

Great home for large groups

We enjoyed our stay in this home. We had 6 adults and two children and there was plenty of room for everyone. We paid to have the pool heated and used it our whole stay. We found it was about 35-45 mins from Universal depending on traffic. Gilberto was very responsive with questions around heating the pool and any other questions that we had. We really enjoyed our stay! Thank you!

Worst experience

We waited 3-4 hours to get ahold of manager and owner to let us in . They never sent me an email with the code . The gate didn't have our names to get in and we all had to stay in a hotel the first night. The next day they finally reached out. We went to the house and the air hockey table was broken, the refrigerator door was broken there was no games for the PlayStation to play. No directions on how to use movie screen for movie room. Would not recommend this house at all!

Clean house but had a few issues

Clean and pretty house but the dining room chairs were not strong . The second we sat it they were wobbly and then broke. Owner said I am responsible so didn't give me my deposit back. Then claimed we broke a dresser which was impossible . We ordered heat for the pool it didn't work so he gave us back our $ for that but it ruined our trip that we had no heat in the pool.

Not worth it!

We decided to book this property because we were doing a few days at Disney and a few days of fishing. When we arrived and the security at the front gate told us our names weren’t on the list and we were not allowed in. We couldn’t get ahold of the owner and we were finally able to get through with the property manager. Over thirty minutes of waiting our names were finally on the list. They then told us we were not allowed in because we have a boat. No where on the listing did it state that boats were absolutely not allowed and you would not be allowed to enter with one. We had to spend the next few hours finding a storage unit to park our boat and pay for a month to store it there. When we finally were able to be let into the gate and into the home we realized everything that was offered for the home is an extra cost. To have the heated pool and jacuzzi heated you would have to pay $30 a day. It was chillier than we expected Florida to be that week so we paid the extra money to hear the pool. On our second day there the pool was freezing and we weren’t able to swim at all. The owner said that since it was cold that the pool couldn’t get warm. Waste of money. To use the grill you would have to pay an extra $60. To watch anything on any television you would have to log in to your account because they don’t have cable or any Netflix open for you to watch anything. In the game room they have a ps4 but unless you have a ps4 account where you have purchased games then you aren’t able to use it. They didn’t have any games available to play only to purchase. It was very disappointing because we chose this home for the kids and they were bummed. I know that there wouldn’t be a stocked house but you truly have to buy everything. No seasonings, not one trash bag, you got one roll of toilet paper. I wrote the home owner the first night we got there explaining the boat situation and it took a week to hear back from him (after our vacation was over) and all he said was he didn’t know that it was needed to be listed on the property and that was it. It was a lot of inconveniences and we sadly wouldn’t recommend.

This home is in a great neighborhood and has incredible appeal but needs to be maintained a little better. Several published amenities were not available or were broken. We provided the homeowner with a list of things that were not functional during our stay such as the internet which didn’t work for 4 out of the seven days, no pool towels, none of the TVs worked until the internet was brought back online. Master bathroom vent seems to have a broken part making it extremely loud, broken bed frame and electrical issue with lights flickering in the twin bedroom. Dryer belt has issue causing a grinding noise when in use. Toilet seat loose. Washer timer has issue and didn’t start and required us to in plug and restart several times. Again, the house has extreme potential-Our biggest disappointment was the owner didn’t offer any compensation due to these issues which made the multiple times he had to apologize seem insincere. We spent the first 30 minutes locked outside due to a non functional door code and then the next four days going upstairs and down- stairs assisting with the troubleshooting of the internet-no one wants to work while on vacation but with this house we were full time maintenance. There should be an inspection of these facilities prior to guest check-in. I hate writing non perfect reviews but I feel like if I were not detailed about these issues at this home it would not be a fair representation to all the other villas we stayed in that were great

We enjoyed our stay and the home was very beautiful. There are some minor things that can be improved. The downstairs bedroom was extremely hot. My brother and his wife needed to use two box fans to try to stay cool and it really still didn’t help much. They complained the entire trip and I felt bad for them. One of the upstairs bed frame is broken to where it’s leaning. The mattress itself is comfortable though. The stair railings were a little dirty. My biggest issue is that you have to pay to have the pool and jacuzzi heated. We take this trip every year and this is a first for me to rent a house that you have to pay 25 a night to heat a jacuzzi. I will be asking all host in the future about jacuzzi heating so I can look elsewhere if they charge. Other than that everyone had a good time. Everything was about 20-30 mins away from us so no problem with location.

Home close to attractions easy to get to and from. Area offered close restaurants and shopping. House has lots of room and is nice . Would recommend if staying in Orlando. Only minor feedback washer and dryer worked but may need a future replacement dryer could only do smaller loads

Champions Gate Rental

Great block and location. House fell a bit short on expectations though. Kitchen cabinets and refrigerator had to be scrubbed. Lighting was not great but Gilberto did send in a handyman to install additional lighting. We had issues with the pool and they attempted to have it fixed (he did credit the pool heating fee back). However, we missed out on enjoying the pool for large parts of our stay while this was being worked on. Furniture was fine, beds were fine. We did have some issues with kitchen storage as two of the pantry areas were reserved for owners as opposed to one in previous houses we stayed in. Overall, the house was OK, but there were issues that came up that were disappointing. Gilberto did try to resolve it, and was pleasant to deal with, but at the end of the day, I was expecting a seamless vacation.
