Plenty of space for husband and I along with our son and my brother and sister in law and their son. Not too far from places to eat or family reunion which was an added bonus. We were pretty much there to sleep and unwind and would recommend and stay there again.
This property was an awesome find! There was 5 adults and 2 dogs and it felt like we still had so much room! Very nice appliances, and the beds were super comphy! Will definitely be booking again if we stay in Knoxville again!
Beautifu, cozy home, nestled in the hillside - off the beaten path, but close enough to the city to be able to experience all Knoxville had to offer. House has all the amenities to enjoy an extended stay without having to go without the comforts of home. We will absolutely consider this home for future visits to the Knoxville area!
Great to have a place that welcomes pets. We enjoyed the screened in room. Was disappointed that each bathroom only had one roll of toilet paper and there were no garbage bags. Also missed not having a cookie sheet.
Clean, cozy, and for the most part, extremely quiet. Also, just barely off the beaten path to give you the country feel, but still close to amenities. Just what the Dr. ordered. The screened in deck/patio was extremely enjoyable, especially for watching the deer, cows, and turkey. If you're a hiker or mountain biker, Haw Ridge Park is a nice visit.

Overall, our family enjoyed our stay at this rental. There were a few problems in the beginning, including an excessive amount of pet hair left from the previous renter, a stopped up shower drain, and a leak in the laundry room. The owner was responsive and helped resolve all issues. There was also an overpowering smell- perhaps from plug-ins designed to help mask pet odors- which we were able to mitigate using dishes of vinegar in each room. We did enjoy having a lot of space to spread out and especially liked the screened-in room for watching soccer and napping during thunderstorms. The location was not as close to Knoxville as we had thought- about half an hour to downtown- but the area was very pretty and serene. The kitchen was well-appointed and had everything we needed to cook our meals. I think that the owner has put quite a bit of effort into ensuring that the house is a nice place for people to come and stay, and we appreciated her efforts. We would likely stay here again if we returned to the area.
Great gathering place for family and friends, spacious, with all the comfort and touches of home! It’s a remote location but not far from conveniences.
Adrienne's home was great. Spacious enough and the outdoor screened in patio was the perfect addition to the home. The home is pet friendly but be sure to keep your pets close by as there were wild turkeys and a mama cow and her baby calves roaming around the property next door. What a beautiful way to be immersed in nature. Another added benefit was being close by to bull run park. Great for those who like to go fishing!
Very well decorated. Love the individual spaces, for example, nice to have a screened in porch, living room, dining room and sitting area in the basement. People can go different directions if they want some personal space. Love having two full baths. Nice outdoor space for my dog. Enjoyed hearing the cows and wild turkeys. Very quiet!!

About the host
Hosted by Adrienne Ziarkowski
I’m Adrianne! Traveling is one of my greatest passions—it's why I host. Over the years, the incredible people I’ve met around the world have deepened my appreciation for what makes a stay truly special: the comforts you need, the joy of feeling at home somewhere new, and the beauty of meeting fellow travelers. From Iceland’s wild oceans to Prague’s cobblestone streets, Costa Rica’s lush canopies, and the rich, warm sunsets of Lake Tahoe, every journey has inspired me to share that same warmth with others. Other than this, I’m a business coach who loves people, art, and dancing. A former professional ballet dancer, I now compete in country ballroom dancing. Tennessee will always have my heart - but not sure where you'll find me next!
Why they chose this property
The serenity here will make you never want to leave!
What makes this property unique
The screened-in porch, overlooking the forest and the tree-lined field, is the perfect place to slow down and reset before diving back into life. In the living room, I chose a lemon tree mural for its timeless symbolism. Lemons are known for their balance—bitter yet refreshing, cleansing, and renewing. In ancient traditions, the lemon tree was even associated with the Virgin Mary, a symbol of purity and resilience. Personally, I love lemons so much I’ll peel and eat them whole! My hope is that your time here softens any bitterness you’ve carried, gives you space to breathe, and offers you a fresh start.
