Welcome to paradise! Heron’s Haven in Primehook Beach, DE is back to nature with all the comforts of home. Just out your front door you have a wrap around deck with beautiful views of Prime Hook National Wildlife Refuge, great for bird watching and relaxing as the evening sun sets in the west. Early morning you enjoy a beautiful sunrise and are just steps away from the entrance to a dog-friendly, not-crowded beach on the Delaware Bay. Yes, our house is pet friendly with a pet fee!
Heron’s Haven is the perfect place to unwind, relax and enjoy time with family and friends. The house is a recently built (2002), open and airy, sanctuary that sleeps 6-7 people. The 1st floor of the house has an open living area which includes a large living room with cathedral ceiling, the deck, and a kitchen and dinning area, all with views of the wildlife refuge. This level also includes a full-size (double) bedroom, full bath, and a bedroom for the kids with 2 single bunk beds and a trundle below.
The third bedroom is the entire second floor that overlooks the first floor as well as the wildlife refuge at the back of the house. It has a queen bed, a full bathroom and it's own balcony overlooking the refuge.
Family meals? The house has a well equipped kitchen and a dining area. Beach toys? The house storage area has many beach chairs to choose from, kites, boogie boards and large floats/boogie boards.
We hope you enjoy the time to unwind and escape the beach crowds to spend quiet time with family and friends.
Notes-
We do not provide linens. Please bring a set of queen sheets, 2-3 twin sets and a set of full sheets for beds and towels for the bath and beach. If you prefer to rent them please visit 227rent.com and they can drop off and pick up anything you will need.

Load and start the dishwasher
Remove personal items, remove leftover food and drinks and take out the rubbish
Turn off the lights and lock the doors
If you could start the robot vac we would be truly grateful! It gives us a big jump on cleaning!
Please put any used hand/kitchen towels in a pile on one of the bathroom sinks.
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.
