Located in the Windansea neighborhood of La Jolla this six-bedroom, 5-bathroom home is the perfect place for family and group gatherings. Centrally located it's a short walk to the beach, restaurants and shopping.

The first floor features a large open living/dining room with a 70-inch TV. The perfect spot to relax after a day at the beach or exploring. The updated kitchen has everything needed to prepare a gourmet meal or simple bar-b-que. Just off the kitchen is the patio area with seating for 6, as well as the hot tub.

The first-floor features 3 bedrooms. Two share a jack and jill bathroom. The third bedroom has a hall bathroom.

The second-floor features three bedrooms. The primary ensuite has a king bed, TV and small balcony. The second upstairs room has a king, and the third bedroom has a king and a single bed along with a crib if needed. Both guest bedrooms are en-suite.

A spiral staircase takes you to the rooftop deck which has distance ocean views along with lounge chairs and a bar height table for 4. It's the perfect spot to what the sunset or sunrise for early birds!

House was just as expected and very well organized and stocked. Location was great too. Only thing was that there were a lot of ants all over the first floor and some even got inside our suitcase. Also some lights weren’t working on the second floor

The home was spacious and well appointed. Incredibly convenient to downtown La Jolla and San Diego. Kitchen had great range and oven, with plenty of cooking and serving ware to accommodate our extended family of 10. The rooftop deck was a beautiful place to watch the sunset (with slightly obstructed view due to the new construction next door, but still pretty good view). Note, we did need to launder the towels during our stay, as there was only one set of towels for each bedroom, but given the quantity of bedrooms, that was not a big deal, especially with washer/dryer/detergent in the garage. Neighborhood was quiet, ample street parking though we were there when school was not in session. Highly recommend for location, space, comfort, and price.

The house accommodated our party of six comfortably. The host was responsive when we had difficulty with the garage door opener and heating of the hot tub (was locked at 97 degrees).Pros: Located within walking distance to Windansea beach, La Jolla tide pools, Children’s Beach, La Jolla Cove, and La Jolla Village. Great restaurants are a short drive into the village, but be aware parking is a challenge. Uber is a better choice and widely available. The garage accommodated my mid size SUV just fine. The kitchen is well-equipped with cooking utensils and dishes, etc. The beds are very comfortable, and the linens good quality, and the heating system worked well.Con’s: This house is located directly across a narrow street from La Jolla High School. The streets can be quite congested during drop off and pick up times. Street parking is not widely available near the house. The house is somewhat dated, and had a musty smell upon arrival. The garage door could use an update, as the opener failed upon initial use.Overall, this house was satisfactory for our group and needs. It might be nice to give renters a cell number for quicker contact with the host, as VRBO messaging was the only option for contact.

Thank you for the feedback, the parking is usually a breeze outside of school drop off/pick up. There is one side of the garage that's non operable, (remote will only work on one) there's a sign pointing this out. The manager was excellent providing help with WiFi connection and direct tv issues. It was the season for ants and that was a bit of an annoyance, but we stayed on top of them and there were supplies to use. We did reach out for a few more essentials during our stay and again, management responded quickly.A very pleasant stay for a family event and we were pleased with the home and management!
