About this property
Waterfront 2BR 2BA cabin in Ellijay on 1.1 acre level residential tract.
Welcome to our cabin nestled directly on Mountaintown creek. This cabin sits on a 1.1 acre level property. Large level yard, plenty of parking. Also, surrounded by a wooded area for privacy. Direct access to Mountaintown Creek (designated Trophy Trout stream) with 230 feet of water frontage. Creek is about 45 feet wide along the property, with some rapids. Excellent fishing, with a timed fish feeder positioned on the 14' x 16' deck sitting along the waters edge. This deck also has patio table / chairs, with umbrella for relaxing by the water. It sits under a natural canopy of a large Ironwood tree, making it very comfortable on sunny days. Put in kayaks and tubes directly in front of the house! Also, other outside amenities include a fire pit just a few feet from the water, private outdoor shower, a Pilot Rock (state park style) charcoal grill, picnic table, large stones for sitting on (photo ops). We had these large stones trucked in. They were blasted from a mountain of rock in order to build highway 282 in Ellijay many years ago and were left on a nearby farm. We then brought a few of them here. Additionally, lots of level open grassy space to set up games. The 48 foot covered front deck on the house sits only 45 feet from the water. Enjoy the close up view / sound of the creek, build a fire in the large stacked stone fireplace. Smart TV with surround sound sits on a large solid Pecan mantle above the fireplace. Also, enjoy separate built in bluetooth speakers, should you want to play music while enjoying the outdoors. Also, for those who enjoy cooking on the deck, there is a large Cuisinart griddle for breakfast lunch and dinner. Additionally, a Camp Chef pellet smoker (with sear box) for the smoking enthusiast's.
On the inside, you will enjoy a large and fully stocked kitchen with stainless appliances. Plus, Keurig, toaster, air fryer, countertop style icemaker,(should extra ice been needed). Granite countertops, kitchen bar top. Also, while cooking at the gas range, enjoy a stunning direct view of the creek!
Dining area has a Pub style table, with 4 chairs. Plus, a separate bar top at the retracting window facing the creek.
Living room has a power reclining sofa, reclining love seat and reclining mission style chair. Large stacked stone fireplace with remote controlled gas logs. A smart TV sits on a Pecan mantle. Lots of windows with a view of the creek. Large windmill style ceiling fan and 14 foot tongue and groove vaulted ceiling.
Master bedroom has a king size bed, large dresser with mirror, side table and night stand. French doors lead directly to the deck and outdoor fireplace. Great view of the creek while sitting on the bed!
Master bathroom has dual vanities, granite countertops, large mirror, lots of lights and a beautiful tile and stone walk in shower.
Guest bedroom has a Queen bed, night stand, large dresser, side table and closet. Plus, a soaring 14 foot tongue and groove ceiling.
Guest bath is adjacent to guest bedroom. Standard tub / shower, single vanity and mirror.
This cabin is 1400 square feet, built in 2021. It was built to be super quiet inside, well insulated, energy efficient, cozy, high quality appliances, all HVAC registers are overhead to ensure ductwork stays clean as possible. Plus a 4" HVAC filter media to reduce allergens in the air. The water is supplied by a private well. It tastes great and does have a triple stage filtering system to ensure quality and clarity. Also, the water pressure will not disappoint, as it’s set up with 60 psi minimum. Plenty of recessed LED lighting (all with dimmer switches) throughout every room, as well as on the porch and decks. Security light outside, as well as floodlights on every corner of the house.
Equipped with a Generac whole house generator. In the event of a power outage, the fun will continue with no power disruptions.
Property is a half mile down a small one lane gravel road. It is the last house at the end of the road.
