Beautiful Property!

Our family of 13, ages 8-84 had a wonderful time at this beautiful property. The main room/kitchen/deck looking out over Lake Gaston was unsurpassable! The kitchen is well-stocked for cooking. The home illustrated the hosts' love for Jesus, and we felt it!

Wow!! Amazing place to vacation!

Our family had a delightful time here! From a fully stocked kitchen to cook our food and lovely outdoor covered patio for morning coffees and just hanging out! The game room was a huge hit as well!

Amazing Week!!

We just returned from our week at the Copper Roof on Lake Gaston. This was our 11th year doing a lake vacation with our family. We've been to Lake Placid multiple times, Saranac Lake, Kennebunkport, Me and Lake Norman. The Copper Roof house was the best house we've stayed in. The incredible location, the boat dock, expansive lawn leading up to the lake, the open living area and kitchen, the game room, the stocked cabinets and cooking equipment, the ice machine, the comfortable bedrooms....nothing has been left out. Normally, we leave the house multiple times throughout the week to go shopping or sightsee, but this year we left the house only 1 time to go to a movie on a rainy night. The Copper House exceeded our expectations and we would love to return.

A dream rental for our family!

Wow, we absolutely loved spending our vacation at this place and there was so much space to spread out or to spend time together and all of it was so lovely. If you love the outdoors, there’s plenty of things to do just off the deck and also if it is a day you need to stay indoors there’s plenty to do inside whether in the game room or in the living area. The kitchen as well stocked and we cooked all our meals there with no problems.

A five star immaculate home on Lake Gaston!

We had a wonderful week long stay - spending the NYE holiday with my siblings at Copper Roof! We enjoyed the multiple outdoor spaces, the game room, open family room and dining table with enough seating for all of us, and the well stocked kitchen with all the appliances and dishes for home cooked meals each night. A true oasis - would definitely book again!

The copper roof was everything I imagined!

Super great host! Very responsive and detailed. Very roomy for a large family or couples group. Boasting with 4 full bedrooms and a smaller attached bedroom connecting to the master suite. The game room will keep the entire family busy with the astounding layout of games and fun things to do down stairs. While providing a great sleeping quarters upstairs with a private king bedroom shutoff from the open twin adjoining room. This property gives breathtaking views of the lake with full swimming access and a water slide off the dock.

Perfect home for family gathering including young grandchildren!

Our family came for the weekend and found a welcoming home with plenty of amenities to keep us all pleasantly occupied and several comfortable settings to gather and visit. There were six adults and six children under 15 and we were all comfortable. The children went back and forth from the fun on the water with the kayaks, water slide and swimming to the detached garage game room with enough things for all of them to play. The adults sat on the pier during the day, the lovely, covered porch area for dinner and around the outdoor fireplace in the evening. We will definitely be using this home again and compliment the owners for their attentiveness to our satisfaction and to the home's beautiful details.

Great place for relaxing and rewinding!

We stayed here for our family reunion, and it was absolutely wonderful! The house had everything we needed for both kids and adults — we honestly didn’t want to leave. The kids loved playing treasure hunters on the grassy backyard, and we could easily keep an eye on them from the porch. We even set up a picnic blanket so they could keep playing outside during mealtime. We also enjoyed kayaking — the weather was perfect, and the lake was calm and peaceful. In the evenings, the game room was the perfect spot for poker after the kids went to bed. The large dining table comfortably fit all 12 of us, making every meal together special. The host was amazing — they called us the first day to make sure everything was good and stayed in touch throughout our stay to answer any questions or requests. Overall, it was a fantastic vacation and one of the best houses we’ve ever stayed in. We’ll definitely be coming back!
