About the host
Hosted by Jamie Tracy

We started Pintler Cabins because of our love for Philipsburg, mountain homes, and adventure. After years in public service, we decided to turn our passion for Montana living into a business that helps others experience everything this special place has to offer. As a local, family-run company, we take pride in offering well-maintained, thoughtfully managed vacation rentals that allow guests to relax, explore, and feel right at home. Whether you're here to ski, fish, hike, mine sapphires, or simply unwind, we’re here to make sure your stay is seamless, comfortable, and memorable.
Why they chose this property
Philipsburg and the surrounding area captured our hearts with its unique blend of rugged beauty and small-town charm. Located between the Pintler Mountains and Rock Creek Valley, it offers access to incredible outdoor recreation year-round—world-class fly fishing, skiing at Discovery, mountain biking, sapphire mining, and more. But what really makes this area special is the community. Locals wave as you drive by, kids still ride bikes through town, and there's a strong spirit of hospitality that reminds you to slow down and enjoy life. We love helping guests experience that authentic Montana feeling—something you just can’t find in more commercialized destinations.
What makes this property unique
The Cabin offers the best of both worlds—peaceful seclusion on 4.6 private acres, yet close to all the action. It’s rare to find a cabin that feels this off-grid while still being minutes from skiing, downtown Philipsburg, and the lake. With a hot tub, ping pong table, and flexible sleeping arrangements, it's perfect for families or groups. Unlike many vacation rentals, we’ve made sure there’s plenty of space to spread out and reconnect. And because we’re local, we’re always available if you need tips or help during your stay. We treat this home like our own—and we hope you’ll feel the difference when you walk through the door.
