About the host
Hosted by Pintler Cabins
We started Pintler Cabins because of our love for Philipsburg, mountain homes, and adventure. We decided to turn our passion for Montana living into a business that helps others experience everything this special place has to offer. As a local, family-run company, we take pride in offering well-maintained, thoughtfully managed vacation rentals that allow guests to relax, explore, and feel right at home. Whether you're here to ski, fish, hike, mine sapphires, or simply unwind, we’re here to make sure your stay is seamless, comfortable, and memorable.
Why they chose this property
Many of our team members were born and raised in Philipsburg! The town and the surrounding area captured our hearts with its unique blend of rugged beauty and small-town charm. Located between the Pintler Mountains and Rock Creek Valley, it offers access to incredible outdoor recreation year-round—world-class fly fishing, skiing at Discovery, mountain biking, sapphire mining, hunting, and more. But what really makes this area special is the community. Locals wave as you drive by, kids still ride bikes through town, and there's a strong spirit of hospitality that reminds you to slow down and enjoy life. We love helping guests experience that authentic Montana feeling—something you just can’t find in more commercialized destinations.
What makes this property unique
Rising four stories high, The Perch sets a new standard for luxury mountain living. Its multiple decks and private rooftop Sky Lounge showcase sweeping views of the Pintler Mountains and downtown Philipsburg, creating a one-of-a-kind vantage point. Inside, every space is thoughtfully designed for comfort and togetherness—featuring a chef’s kitchen with Viking appliances, multiple indoor and outdoor fireplaces, and sleeping space for up to 10 guests.
Perfect for families and groups, The Perch blends sophistication with a warm, welcoming feel. Children have room to play, while adults can unwind in style. Its prime location means guests can walk to Philipsburg’s shops, brewery, and restaurants, or reach Discovery Ski Area, Rock Creek, and miles of hiking and hunting terrain within minutes.
Luxury, comfort, and Montana adventure—all come together at The Perch.
We treat this home like our own—and we hope you’ll feel the difference when you walk through the door.
