About the host
Hosted by Pintler Cabins

We started Pintler Cabins because of our love for Philipsburg, mountain homes, and adventure. We decided to turn our passion for Montana living into a business that helps others experience everything this special place has to offer. As a local, family-run company, we take pride in offering well-maintained, thoughtfully managed vacation rentals that allow guests to relax, explore, and feel right at home. Whether you're here to ski, fish, hike, mine sapphires, or simply unwind, we’re here to make sure your stay is seamless, comfortable, and memorable.
Why they chose this property
Philipsburg and the surrounding area captured our hearts with its unique blend of rugged beauty and small-town charm. Located between the Pintler Mountains and Rock Creek Valley, it offers access to incredible outdoor recreation year-round—world-class fly fishing, skiing at Discovery, mountain biking, sapphire mining, and more. But what really makes this area special is the community. Locals wave as you drive by, kids still ride bikes through town, and there's a strong spirit of hospitality that reminds you to slow down and enjoy life. We love helping guests experience that authentic Montana feeling—something you just can’t find in more commercialized destinations.
What makes this property unique
Tucked away where Stony Creek meets world-famous Rock Creek, Stony Creek Lodge offers a one-of-a-kind Montana escape. Wake to the sound of rushing water, cast a line steps from your front door, and unwind in the private hot tub surrounded by mountain views. This rustic yet refined cabin combines the best of comfort and wilderness — cozy wood interiors, warm cabin décor, and panoramic views that change with the seasons.
Whether you’re here to fish legendary trout waters, explore nearby trails, or simply soak in the peace of creekside living, Stony Creek Lodge delivers an authentic Montana experience where nature and relaxation meet.
